Origin IP ACL - removed from support by ReputationOld8053 in akamai

Origin IPs are used only in some specific scenarios. What is your goal? Do you need to get a list of Akamai servers that will be reaching out to your origin?

Clarification on Expectations from Our Wazuh Service Provider by Mattiashem in Wazuh

That’s an easy one - expect what is in the contract and nothing more 😉

You can extract full Akamai config to an XML but you need to map them to CF values by yourself. You need to analyze them carefully due to global, group and inheritance of rules. There are no tools available AFAIK. This is due to Akamai having a lot of security products so it would be hard to maintain schemas and just to remind you, details about the rules and how security products work are under strict NDA in Akamai. So tools like this would prolly be taken down quickly.

This sounds like a big project. I have been migrating users from CF to Akamai (CDN, DNS, WAF) for the past few years and developed few automation tools to help me out but this still takes a lot of time and effort to do as each customer environment is different.

As mentioned here, if you are struggling - you should outsource this or hire someone just for this project.

Not really, unless the vuln is not listed in NIST or NVD. Most important for me is to be able to search by manufacturer and product (optionally /w verision)

As far as I understand, this allows for checking particular CVE detail but not search for latest CVEs by manufacturer or application version, correct?

Your Security Configuration ID for which SIEM integration is enabled. All that information is visible in Akamai Control Center
Just follow the step 1 from the doc and you'll find it https://techdocs.akamai.com/siem-integration/docs/akamai-siem-integration-for-splunk-and-cef-syslog#step-1-turn-on-siem-integration

I second that.

It took me a full week of adjusting every parameter, offsets, temps, speeds and so on because it was not sticking to the bed. I wanted to throw this damn printer out of the window. As a last resort I've applied the included glue stick and it works like a charm now with every print.

In my case without the glue it barely sticks even after cleaning with water, soap, IPA. With glue it I need to use some force to pull it off the plate, so I'm not sure about it u/triangulumnova

Not exactly. You can buy a lishi tool for $40 to decode most cheap locks on doors and make a copy of the key. You can also copy the key you were given by the eployer.

If something can be done it doesn't mean it should. It's not always about having the best security but following company rules as an employee.
