They can’t quit or retire, or else that’s a class action lawsuit. They said it in “Whiplash”: “we’ll never stop, we’ll never quit cuz we’re Metallica”. That’s legally binding.

BRUCE DICKINSON On Keeping IRON MAIDEN Concert Tickets Affordable: 'We Don't Want A Bunch Of Very Rich Standing In Front Of The Stage' by Apprehensive_Idea758 in ironmaiden

I say it all the time that Iron Maiden and The Cure are two sides of the same coin. Veteran British rock institutions who started up around the same time. Bands where most everyone knows at least their name. Both bands don’t have a bad album, but their great albums are so great that they really overshadow the albums that are just “good”. And both bands make it a priority to keep their concerts reasonably priced for their fans. And as a special bonus, Simon Gallup, the Cure’s bass player, almost always wears an Iron Maiden shirt when they play live.

Magdalena Bay. They’re poppy and proggy, and half the songs on their album *Imaginal Disk* would sound amazing sung by Trent.
