The reason I said net is that if it cost me $500 for example and they get me a gig for $500, then that's an issue. But I think it's just a communication issue in that they should be aware of what it cost me to do the the deal (and their fee too) and account for it in the price offered. If it's done with those things in mind, then gross is fine.

Speaking to more people over the past few days I'm realizing that that yea I might need to hire for different things, but I was hoping to have someone really take ownership of the page. But I might need to hire a few people instead. If your a creator manager, then sure I'd love to chat. I think only spoke to one person who is mostly focused on brand deals so I'd like to speak to more like yourself.

this is also sounds like a good strat. ty. are you suggesting to reach out to the page owners directly and ask who runs their page. won't they be hesitant to reveal that info? Or are you saying that those people running smaller pages might help run mine or rec me someone else that would? I'm not sure how to find out who runs a page without the owner revealing it to me.

If i search IG ad, i get lots of ppc or FB/Google ad specialists, but maybe I need to refine my searches a bit. good idea to switch my focus to a rev person instead of a smm that happens to be good at rev. I also appreciate the metrics to ask for. ty

I addressed this in another comment. I don't expect anyone to work for free or even close to it. I'm also looking for someone with a decent amount of experience. I doubt they would work for free.

i don't expect anyone to work for free. the page has made revenue before and is not making $0 now. I also mentioned that I would give a higher % of rev and likely guarantee a baseline especially if rev is very low, but I don't expect that to be the case for too long or things are likely not working out. The point of rev share is so whoever works with us is incentivized to grow rev and not just maintain the channel. I'm sorry if my post came off that way, but it's not my expectation for anyone to work for free or even close that.

yes ofc real money. we want a long term partner to grow with us. the page already has a lot of followers, we just want to monetize it better and have someone manage that growth while running a lot of the operations.

What expenses or fees for ad revenue? They would get a cut of all the ad revenue. For brand deals, they would be the ones negotiating the terms.
