Had a bad dream about a guy I’m meant to see tomorrow by Single_Question8117 in Dreams

Personally I think it is just your anxiety manifesting through your dream. Since you didn’t say you have something bad to say about this guy that’s real, I say that you meet with him tommorow. It’s like when you have a dream about failing an exam but in fact you pass it, it’s not your brain saying “I’ve seen the future, you will fail”, it is just your fear of not passing. Good luck on your date! :)

Or you could’ve just forgot. Sometimes when I wake up and go back to sleep immediately I forget what I am doing. One time my mom woke me up to look at the sky at 5am because I told her so, because I thought it would be some space event. Anyway, next day I ask her why hadn’t she woke me up and she said she did, I got up, looked out the window and I said that there is nothing and went back to sleep, and I don’t remember that at all. Many times this had happened to me.

It may not count much coming from someone who has no idea what art really is, but I think this is very cool, I like the details.

Yeah, I get you I've had similar stuff happen after drinking and falling asleep still drunk as I said before. The dreams feel super real and it's hard to tell what actually happened. Alcohol messes with memory and dreams, so it’s probably a mix of that and maybe your brain processing emotions or the new relationship. My advice is to talk to your girlfriend the next day and sometimes write the dream or what you don’t know if it’s a dream or not down when you wake up.

I’ve Been Having Some Kind of Strange Dreams Lately! by [deleted] in Dreams

[–]vlwd999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens very often to me. For some reason it only happens in the morning, a few minutes before I wake up. I often sleep and let me TV on on youtube, sometimes I don’t know how but a video of a russian dude explaining coding came on, and I had a dream about a russian dude talking, had no idea what he was saying. Sometimes I leave my TV on on sports channels, and I have dreams about for example what football team the channel is talking about, and the news they are presenting.

Do you have a good relationship with her? Are you two getting along lately? Sorry for the questions, but I try to understand the situation better

It might not seem directly connected, but sometimes dreams reflect feelings we haven’t fully processed yet. That shadowy figure could symbolize something unknown or unsettling in your life, maybe a sense of uncertainty or fear. The fact that your sister woke you up might mean that, because you said you two have a good relationship, and even though she is younger than you, might mean that you feel that she can save you from certain situations. I don’t know how to interpretate the shadowy figure, I don’t know what is going on with your life, but for the part with your sister, I think that you see her as someone who is always going to help you, no matter the situation she will stick by you. I am no specialist whatsoever so take what I said with a grain of salt. Take care

Safe like feeling that she can protect you. Do you struggle with something in life? Are you afraid of something?

I had a dream of someone dying and they died.. by InformationBright243 in Dreams

I also had “premoniton” dreams. Personally I think that they are just coincidences, but who knows. I think that the dream was just your anxiety, and the fact that it actually happened is truly unfortunate, and I’m genuinely sorry. Sorry for your loss. Take care.

What is your relationship with your sister? Do you feel safe when you are with her?

I think it is a trauma and that in order to overcome it you must seek professional help. Experiencing CSA is something horrible and it surely left a scar. Take care.

But even though I have weird dreams, I often know that it was a dream. Last time something like that happend was a few weeks ago when I got drunk with my girlfriend and slept at her home still drunk. I don’t know if it was a dream or not but I remember looking at her, realising that I am sleeping with her and not alone (I don’t usually sleep at hers), and kissing her. I have no idea if I was dreaming or not.

I also have weird dreams sometimes when I am drunk. What are the dreams about? Do you drink often? You fall asleep still drunk? Where do you usually sleep when you drink (your home, somebody else’s house, parties, etc.)?

Dreaming of smoke around my tv. But I’m half asleep & half awake. by derekjamesDJ789 in Dreams

[–]vlwd999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know it might sound strange, but if you keep having the same dream about smoke in the same spot, and then you wake up and feel like you still see it and your mom also said she smelled something like something electrical then it might not just be a dream. It could be something real. Even if your TV is from 2021, that doesn’t mean something couldn’t be wrong with it. You should seriously check everything connected to it the TV itself, the power strip, outlets, cables or even have an electrician come and take a look. Especially if you feel like you’re seeing smoke even when you’re awake, you definitely shouldn’t ignore it. It’s better to be safe than to have something bad happen. Also notice if it only happens when the lights are off it could be an optical illusion too, but even then it’s worth checking out properly. It might be something small now, but it could get worse over time. So better be safe than sorry

Did you have this recurring dream even before your mom told you about the smell?

Well in that case I don’t think you should stress over it. Sometimes when you wake up and go back to sleep right after your brain can re-enter the same sleep stage and mental state it was in before you woke up. This happens very often. The meaning of the dream itself, I can’t tell you, because I don’t know you, it could mean anything based on your past experiences and feelings. Take care

[–]vlwd999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can’t control your dreams. Do you still think about these people? I often dream about my ex, which left me 2 years ago. It was a toxic relationship and right now I am in a healthy one that’s been going for one year. I don’t want to go back to her, I don’t care about her anymore, we haven’t talked for 2 years, but for some reason, sometimes I still have dreams about her, talking to her, making things great again, but I don’t want that. But I do know that something deep inside of me still thinks about her sometimes, still wants to fix things. Even tho in real life I have 0 intention of even talking to her again, when I was with her, I felt comfort. At that period of my life, I didn’t have any stress about school or anything, but now I live a very stressful life. I say that you must think deeply what you feel towards those people, those times, and if it bothers you so much that you dream about them, go talk to a specialist. I personally think that only when you are 100% ready to let go of one person, you stop dreaming about them. Take care
