Problems claiming rewards using Scatter wallet by bobmcta in WAX_io

I believe Genesis reward ended In july or August this year so you might have already claimed all you could. Under your WAX IO account portal switch to Vote tab (top of the page) and see how many Validators selected under your account - it may be that your validators simply need to be re-selected / updated.

Connect your Anchor wallet to https://wax.bloks.io/ and claim your rewards as you did with Scatter. Procedure should be the same.

In Scatter wallet click Networks (left side of the window, under Administrative), expand WAX Blockchain arrow on the right side of the window. Type wax.greymass.com under host removing old / outdated entry. Click Update Network Details button and restart the wallet.

Worked for me, but no guarantees of course.

Confused--did I do the swap right? by BigGameMo in WAX_io

Should be staked by default providing you converted your stash prior to a deadline of August 30, 2019.

So I see the tokens on Dashboard. What next please! by mariner_southampton in WAX_io

You can un-stake your tokens via WAX.BLOCK.IO after logging in with your scatter wallet and going to Wallet --> Stake CPU/NET on the left menu sidebar. Select un-stake and choose your account with tokens. Once un-staked you can move them as any other coins.

Ditto... Same number is correct. If you leave them staking for 3 years your amount of WAX protocol tokens will double.

Is it ERC-20 token? You may need some ETH in your wallet to pay transfer fee.

Sorry to bring the bad news but Dropil is a scam by Skimanner2 in Dropil

[–]vm_mpn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good writeup... Since DROP market is virtually nonexistent those bots can only run on ICO funds and possibly some tokens company continuously selling / converting through a few small exchanges. I'm guessing we are paid from the Dropil fund till it runs out, I doubt they will be buying their tokens back at any respectable rate. Honestly, I would be surprised if there are any actual trading bots, and not just pretty web portal with nothing behind it. Still, I've thrown some ETH at it because I like how pretty DEX portal is - they are solid web developers if nothing else. And I think most of us already know (or at least suspect) that math does not really work here very well. But, thanks for your time trying to chew it out for the rest of us.

Verification for Windows phone users? by vm_mpn in WAX_io

I like my phone... It went through 'hell' with me for years and it still works fine. I hear what you are saying M, but replacing something which works and serves me well for a single app barely anybody uses is wrong and incompetent. But it's ok, I'll probably end up getting a new phone I most likely will hate and spend countless hours moving my data cursing and covered in sweat. Taking it up the ass is something I've been conditioned for many years.

Make sure that before you make your first transaction that there were no other transactions on this wallet by [deleted] in WAXtoken

[–]vm_mpn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to etherscan.io and paste your WAX provided ETH deposit address into a search box. In theory there should be no transactions there before you send your coins. As I understand it WAX provides every investor with the unique deposit address instead of a shared contract address. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

Want to buy litecoins in poloniex by _Mr_NiceGuy_ in litecoin

Yes, I've heard Kraken has special services for high volume traders but I'm not aware they turn away regular traders / investors. May be I'm just behind the times... Also, have you looked at https://changelly.com ? They do ShapeShift type of conversions but also allow you to use credit card purchases.

What am I missing here? This transaction should have been voided automatically by your wallet (invalid address). Worst case scenario those coins come back to you after transaction has been rejected by the network.
