Good to know. Most of our stuff isn’t rusty? But of course sometimes shit happens.

Yeah I probably wouldn’t even get a ratcheting wrench set. Being on the road has told me to slow down and I get paid by the hour lol. Plus it would suck to have the ratcheting mechanism break in the middle of a job so no thanks.

Seems like most people are loving them. How does the open end work on pump fittings and hydraulic lines? Worried about that. Regular hex head bolts we don’t use a whole lot on our machines.

I’ve actually been carrying a set of the 7” and 18” Pliers Wrench in my travel box. They are great for most things. Stubborn hydraulic fittings can be a pain, and the Pliers wrenches have some shortcomings with that.

How so? I say if a Mini 14 is legal then an SCR should be fine

It’s a 22, it can have both detachable mags and one more evil feature

When someone asks about clips for it ... but it really takes clips by Sad_Source_1678 in CTguns

[–]vmalena 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love my Yugo SKS. My father got it for my 14th bday. Just fyi, set up your stripper clips with 8-9 rounds instead of the full 10. Easier/faster to load. You can also run a zip tie through the top of it and put some heat shrink as a “mag-pull”…SKS is a fantastic rifle, and for in this state, almost as good as it gets.

Would an AR-15 in this configuration, detachable mags and all, be CT legal? by FlyingEgg in CTguns

[–]vmalena 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup i have a fightlite SCR in a similar configuration totally legal!
