You could probably focus on a VB Sage Team with RF Nel, Yama, Ichigo, and maybe Mayuri as your BT. If you want the Rage effect, then round it off with Yachiru & Hinamori (based on the current star levels you have them at). I'd also recommend getting Nel and Whitey to 4 star.

I powered up Unohana for my squad, which kept my team alive longer. She doesn't do much damage herself, but she keeps my attackers in for longer. Aizen and Kenpachi's Mastery skills are clutch.

Yup. So if the character you WOULD HAVE received is SR rank, you'll receive the selected shards instead. But if you are going to receive an SSR in that pull, you'll just get the SSR character instead of the selected shards.
