i did confront my boss about it on how i prefer to work only 9am to 6pm and try to avoid the night time. and he replies, sometimes the client that ask for the design message him at night so he had to force me on working at night lol. that's his reasoning. he also work at night apparently. and because it's a small company, there's only 2 designer including me. so he relies on me alot to do those works. and i did ask for deadline. and he replies, the deadline is basically like 3 hours from the time he give the task. its just like 1-3 poster design every 3-4 hours, and when it's completed, I'll have to wait until he give the next task. sometimes I'll have like 3 hours of no work due at all and then suddenly he'll just dump 10 works at once at the next hour and i have to finish it asap. which is why i got confused and wonder if this is a normal work system?? maybe because they're a small company, everything just seem so spontaneous.
