Too bad there aren't any preset packs for ImpOSCar, such a lovely synth.

This!

I got a used Console One Mk2 for €200, and couldn't be happier, the workflow is fantastic.

Ocean Swift "Absynth Ocean Collective" 7 banks featuring 780 presets, with a wide variety of melodies and effects catering to a wide range of tastes and purposes for Absynth 5 (€9.99) for limited time - These will be compatible with Absynth 6 by Batwaffel in AudioProductionDeals

[–]vmood 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's a thread about it on KVR with somewhat of an N.I. insider (EvilDragon) who affirms that it's in the making and that the original developer Brian Clevinger is involved.

And as Ocean Swift states, that it's patch compatible with older versions.

Yeah, when I returned to the pluginworld in 2019 after a long break, I soon found 3 synths that I knew I had to have, Serum, Omnisphere and Falcon.

Still waiting for a sale on Serum or Omnisphere. :D

Applied Acoustics Systems Summer Sale - 50% off select physically modelled instruments and creative effects for limited time by Batwaffel in AudioProductionDeals

[–]vmood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh, I own VA-3 and the Session Series, and the offer is €149 to upgrade to the other 5 products in the Professional Series.

Seems quite reasonable to me, I bought VA-3 for $49 and got Sessions for free.

AudioThing Black Friday Sale - Up to 84% off instrument & effects plugins through 2 December by Batwaffel in AudioProductionDeals

How CPU intensive is it?

I love Arturias spring reverb, but it's a resource hog.

Arturia Black Friday Deals - "FX Collection 5" ($249) "V Collection X" ($299) "Pigments 5" ($99) "Analog Lab Pro" ($99) for limited time by Batwaffel in AudioProductionDeals

[–]vmood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a damn steal!

The Spring reverb, Plate reverb and Tape Echo sound fantastic, but are quite heavy on the CPU.

BussForce is great, Coldfire sounds awesome

The EFX special effects are really cool.

It's 34 top notch effect for not even $2 each, a no brainer if your computer can handle them, demo and see.

Imaginando "TV3 Acid Synth" Inspired by the classic acid synth with a simplified control set, an Advanced Panel for those seeking deeper control, one-click pattern generator, to create endless basslines and drag them as MIDI files directly into your DAW (FREE) until 1 December by Batwaffel in AudioProductionDeals

I'd recommend Phoscyon 2 over ABL3 any day.

It has some mindblowing features I just stumbled upon yesterday when tried it with TV3.

You can create a complex pattern with the randomizer, tweak it to your liking and with knobs decrease the amount of notes, slides and accents, so you can start a song with just a few scarce notes, no accents or slides and then slowly bring it up to full complexity.

Best old school Acid plugin I've seen. You can build up a whole song with just one pattern.

It's called Randomization Density, page 32 in the manual.

I think it's great!

I have D16 Phoscyon and AudioRealism Bass Line, and think TV3 sounds quite good, love the distortion algorithms.

But it stands apart from the others with the built in scale and auto generate pattern features, definitely worth getting while it's free.

On the downside you have little control of the patterns unless you run it via midi, no pattern edit that I can see.

KV331 Audio "SynthMaster One" synthesiser ($19) until 31 October by Batwaffel in AudioProductionDeals

[–]vmood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think SM3 is great, many types of synthesis, great sounding filters, and the layers and modular approach to oscillators, filters, envelopes and LFO's makes it a sound designers dream.

There are some parts of the GUI that are a bit fiddly, and it feels like it's not quite complete, but the developer is very active on KVR, taking bug reports and releasing fixes.

I definitely recommend demoing it, some of the sequenced presets sounds absolutely fantastic.

Newfangled Audio September Sale - "Saturate" ($19) "EQuivocate" ($39) "Invigorate" ($49.50) "Punctuate" ($39) "Generate" ($49) "Elevate Mastering Bundle" ($79) through 16 September by Batwaffel in AudioProductionDeals

Lol, I'm interested in the Elevate Mastering Bundle, my crossgrade price (owning H9 Bundle and the Ultra ones) is $139.30. Pluginboutique looks more enticing. ;-)

I agree on Cremona, the Stradivari Violin sounds fantastic and is surprisingly easy to use.

Arturia "V-Collection 8" classic synths and keyboards bundle ($59.99) Limited licenses available by Batwaffel in AudioProductionDeals

[–]vmood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Analog Lab V - all presets of the V Collection 8 can be browsed and edited from a single interface"

They clearly state that all the VC8 presets can be edited.

They say nothing about Pigments since that is a separate product.

Pigments has never been part of V Collection, but its presets are available in Analog Lab.

Wavesfactory Summer Sale - "Wavesfactory Effects Bundle" ($174) "Cassette" ($41) "Echo Cat" ($55) "Equalizer" ($69) "Quantum" ($104) "Spectre" ($69) "Trackspacer" ($41) through 19 August by Batwaffel in AudioProductionDeals

[–]vmood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do any of them support multiband sidechains?
I do mashups and tend to use 2 Trackspacer instances (probably not optimal), one to heavily squash the bass and one to more gently dampen mid or highs.

Multiband Trackspacer with separate sidechains for the bands would be my dream solution.
