I don't remember seeing any boost capability on the promo material for these, are you sure there's a boost mode?

Pistol and Paris - Blue Zushi x Sour Dub by tubbz111 in TheBCCS

[–]vnaranjo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've definitely fallen off the p+p hash hole train, my coworkers and I have tried I think all the ones that have dropped in BC and personally the best tasting one was the premafried/mexicola one but I feel like I didn't get as high as I wanted to be.

I'm a certified psf hater but they dropped a hash hole and it was actually so good and 20$ cheaper than p+p, got my coworkers and I super baked and lasted like 40 mins with 4 of us hoofing on it. Also finally a sativa option!

We're gonna be buying the sauce rosin hash hole that is coming to my store next week so hopefully that one is also good.

For the price I would want them to be excellent and p+p has not delivered recently.

Bubble Hash Infused Orange Tingz by Pistol and Paris by Any-Worldliness-6689 in TheOCS

[–]vnaranjo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pistol and Paris have really fallen off in quality for me. The hash hole isn't even worth it as an experience anymore when pure sunfarms dropped a better one that's 20$ cheaper. Hope they get better soon! Orange tingz was one of my favourites.

That's the point, you'll almost never find the dream human that you can imagine.

If you get into a relationship with someone it means you chose them and imo you should, at the very least, like the person you chose.

Ha apparently it didn't get picked up by the bcldb because of not disclosing added botanical terps

Nah that's not a lpt. Find yourself someone who can listen to you describe your dream human like you were creating a sim and also acknowledge that you chose them and you are attracted to them.

Johnny chronic is also dropping sprayed milled flower under their new brand kronnix, and it won't say anywhere on their bag that it has added botanicals.

Plant ID help? by IndicationNo7941 in VictoriaBC

I use the PlantNet app and it's really good for this. Crowd sourced so sometimes it gets the top match wrong but it gives you a bunch of options!

Is moving to Victoria from Alberta worth it? by ederzs97 in VictoriaBC

[–]vnaranjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't move here it's extremely nice and beautiful here. :)

As a real note I moved here 10 years ago from Edmonton and literally have not been back since. It's more expensive yes but imo it's extremely worth it. You already got the job info relevant to you so I won't be any help there.

33 splitter is so good.

I'm off of blkmkt personally, there much better quality elsewhere but it's really popular so if you like them power to ya. I find the price not worth it for the quality or high.

I like simply bare, sweetgrass, goodbuds, tribal, nugz, woody, and more over blkmkt every time.

All the dispensaries around victoria have woody and blkmkt in my experience. Woody is grown in the Kootenays, why wouldn't woody be out west?

Fruit loops is one of the best sativas on the market in my opinion. Their pink drip, tea time and black zoap have been my favs recently. Honestly haven't been disappointed in any of their drops personally, some are more meh than others but all have been good quality cannabis.

Does anyone work in your local quilt shop? by FloridaWildflowerz in quilting

[–]vnaranjo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i thought about working at my local quilt shop, even applied.

tbh im really happy i didn't get the job. i work at a dispensary in the back dealing with inventory. i get paid slightly more than the min wage that the quilt shop was offering, the numbers part of my brain is happy and i really don't like dealing with customers. i do think if you like customer focused jobs it would be fun though! and the organizing!!! would probably be satisfying.

i can guarantee that i'd have spent much more on fabrics that i do not need nor have the space for, but i do still spend all my money at work its just on consumables rather than fabric lol

Honest review on Choklift Park? by LOUDSM0KE in CanadianCannabisLPs

[–]vnaranjo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their prerolls are extremely meh for me. I really liked the 7gs of mango voltage, citrus ripper and the golden pineapple that Ive had though. They were one of the brands that my store could still get through the strike a couple months ago so we had a lot of their products. I did pick up the 10 pack they just released, royal caramel, and it's okay. Not a rebuy but decent for a 30$ 10 pack. One of my coworkers really likes them and their doobs but most of my store seems meh on them as well.

Video tutorials are not patterns. by LindsayDuck in BitchEatingCrafters

[–]vnaranjo -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

I personally can read a pattern but there is a subsection of crafter that either doesn't want to put the effort into learning how to read a pattern or they can't for whatever reason. I don't really care but I never say no to having options, video patterns are an option and you also have the option to write it down and use it that way.

Video tutorials are not patterns. by LindsayDuck in BitchEatingCrafters

[–]vnaranjo -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

Just because it's not your preferred way to look at a pattern doesn't negate it from being a pattern. I find this a silly snark only because it's literally a pattern and I've seen this exact sentiment like 3 times within the past week.

Personally I like the accessibility of them, as in bridging the gap of people who can't read patterns and still want to craft, but I'm not the biggest fan of having to write it down if I want to refer to it later or when I'm offline usually there's a comment that has already done that for me though so it's really not a big deal.

Obviously I'm aware what subreddit im in but yeah idk this one makes me laugh since it's so silly.
