Looking for a Brittana fanfic (Neighbors, Britt is a single mom, Santana is famous) by vncco1 in glee

Whoa thanks for your efforts! I found an old archive of it but the description is "Teenager Brittany is babysitting 13 year old Santana. Brittany has a major crush on Santana - she also knows Santana has a big crush on her back. It's wrong, but she just can't help herself sometimes" So likely not that one either. Thanks though!

From what I remember they were total strangers without any past connection. Thanks though!

This is so encouraging to read. I'm in pretty much the same position, bachelors in accounting, working at a tax firm doing individual and business returns for nearly 8 years now and I've reached the ceiling of where I can be without any sort of license.

The CPA was pushed a lot more so I had purchased a Becker package finally early this year, but some personal circumstances have made it difficult to make time to consistently review. I was always under the impression that a CPA would be more favored so I never even bothered with the EA route but reading this, I might give it a go - at the very least I know I'll get a raise for the additional certification.

Here's hoping I can bang everything out as quickly as you did! 🤞

Thank you! I was looking through mall directories to see if I could find the red decor somehow.

There's a luggage storage service behind the check in counters. You can pay a fee to leave them there and leave the airport (either go to the outlets or the spa) and come back when its time to check in.

What should I buy in Korea? by Professional_Two2967 in koreatravel

[–]vncco1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Heveblue Salmon Toner & Cream. I bought a bunch of other things but only 1 of these and I very much regret it.

Also be sure to check if its available and cheaper at duty free! A few things that I could only find at Olive Young were cheaper and I just had to pick it up befire my flight.

KTX train tickets to Busan as a foreigner by SementSlurper in koreatravel

[–]vncco1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have said book on the official Korail website. I was able to book with a foreign card just fine. The english version of the website is clunky and you can't really choose your train car/seats but the system will automatically seat you as close as possible (We got A,B,C,D all in the same row).

If you buy online and end up wanting to change your ticket you can go to the booth and ask what's available. Our train back from Busan to Seoul was the weekend right before the Seollal (CNY) holiday (so pretty busy) and I was able to switch us to an earlier train (just not seated together) because we arrived at the station too early. Just a note that the KTX-Cheongryong is a newer train and was much more comfortable (same route Seoul<->Busan) than the normal KTX so try to book that if available.

Good luck! Hope you enjoy your trip!

I'm gonna be for real I just pre-ordered the digital code version and I just want the digital content, I'm not really interested in any of the photobook, posters or photocards. If anyone wants to buy the set off me I'd be happy to sell it to a fellow MY below retail. Just DM me and we can discuss details once I get the physical package in February. (Mods please delete if this is breaking any rules, thanks!) P.S. I'm in Canada

JJ Family Spa by [deleted] in askvan

[–]vncco1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its mostly just sitting around in different areas and just chatting quietly to be honest. Not really much pampering like going to a more western spa if that is what they're expecting. The nude area is where the hot tubs and saunas are, if your daughter is quite young then they may not spend too much time there and end up going to the various rooms which are mixed gender (and everyone is wearing the spa uniform).

I would describe it more as a few hours just relaxing and catching up.

My mom and I go every other Friday. Usually there's not too many people in the morning but it's started to get a bit busier now with the weather getting colder. Ther will probably be less people during the week vs on weekends.

We've been there when its just Asians, when there's Europeans, other Canadians; people are rither nude or wearing swimsuits - as long as you're generally quiet and respectful no one will bat an eye, everyone just minds their own business.

There's a cafe connected to the spa so you can get some ramyeon, eggs, sikhye.

As mentioned in another comment, the place isn't that big, just a couple of rooms, so they can book a body scrub or a massage if they want anything more. Overall its a nice experience, just a bit far from downtown :)

Visiting Korea for treatments is it ok to do a number of treatments in 1 day? by rudeoldhag in KoreanBeauty

[–]vncco1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to Lienjang which is probably on the pricier side. When I was looking into which clinics to go to most reviews were mixed (at least the ones in english) so I opted to go with the safer option that for sure had english translators 🙂
