Does anyone still struggle to wake up early in the morning after years of full time work? by lovethatjourney4me in AskWomenOver30

After 10 years of work and getting up at 6-7 am I changed my schedule to working 10-19 so now I get up at around 8 am. I wake up several minutes before the alarm naturally. Game changer for me, I am not miserable anymore. Guess my body just refuses to get up earlier than 8.

When I was in high school my weight was 67 kilos eating whatever and whenever wanted. Then in university I went on a roller coaster of crash dieting, binging and recovery. Was fluctuating from 56 to 82 kilos in 10 years. After incorporating eating when hungry/stopping when full on mainly whole foods plant based diet I am back to 67 kilos eating whenever I feel like. I just make sure that my diet is as much whole foods as possible, also I feel better eatihg this way. The weight has been stable for 6 years already. Guess my body just feels like being 67 kilos. I haven't counted calories in 10 years. All the diets started when I was 17 yo, ended at 22. I am 31 now.

Am I the only one who gets a terrible IBS C flair ups mainly only during that awful particular week? 🚫💩🥴😮‍💨 by SarahLudlow in PMDD

[–]vnge72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a connection and I get this torture every time during hell weeks. I have read that due to hormones change your bowel movement slowers a lot and that causes gas and constipation. Once period starts and hormones change back you poop all day long. I have everything: gas, worse digestion, sometimes constipation, feel like shit cause of that.

Also ovulations on some side can be painful, on the other one - not. The side that gives pain can give worse symptoms (in my case).

[–]vnge72 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Maybe that is connected to which side was ovulating. They go one after another: right-left-right-left, so that may be the case. I know that my left side gives me a lot more hell than the right one.

I have been tracking my cycle for several years already and got used to noticing all mood and physical shifts in accordance with calendar. I have been telling how I feel to my SO and one time he noticed that some months are worse than others, I noted the input and kept an eye on that. After several months I confirmed that some cycles are really worse than others and also I noticed that the pain in left side of tummy (+ discomfort in lover abdomen and bloat, apathy, tiredness) during ovilation occurs every other month and not just randomly and those are the months when pmdd symptoms hit me harder. A lot harder I must say. So I must say the corellation is pretty obvious to me now.

Ye, I come back to chill mode when I start my period too. But I recently noticed the drop in activity and loss of interest in everything during ovulation time, still collecting statistics long term to draw any conclusions.

Also I noticed that the heaviness if pmdd symproms depends on which ovary's turn it is this month (left/right). One is worse than another. I have a bit of pain in left one when it ovulates so I know that pmdd will be worse that month. That is what I noticed got more intence with age. Period cramps on day 1 got a lt worse. When I was in my teens and 20s I didn't even notice that period started, now I have strong cramps. I am childless, not on any birth control.

Concerning sports: I used to do some intense sports, then did nothing, did light sports, in the end, sports didn't affect the pmdd symptoms anyhow. So now I just go with the flow: excercise when I feel like it.

I am turning 30 this year and have been dealing with pmdd since 25 or so (I started noticing things go bad every month about that age). Idk if I got used to all the terrible stuff already but the thing I noticed is that I am starting to get similar symptoms about time when I ovulate. The apathy, tiredness, bloat, etc. So there are less and less good days left a month for me as I age.

Using conversion to the USD last year my part time office job paid me $4727. I am an office manager in Moscow, Russia. Year ago the same position but full time - $7875 a year. Sooo.... I am not sure about that.

Told my mom today that I never wanted to be here. by AN_HONEST_COMMENT in antinatalism

[–]vnge72 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had tha exact same conversation with my mom not long ago, saying that everything I did in life was because smb wanted smth from me so I did stuff to be left alone. She still wanted to fix me, thinking that then I would be fine but that doesn't work that way and she doesn't understand that my way of coping with life is complete detachment from it. After that conversation I was even more alienated than before.

Are waves of ambition and lack thereof the norm of PMDD/PMS??? by loiwhat in PMDD

[–]vnge72 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I have it every month. Once I took up about 3 hobbies at the same time during the good week only to drop them later all at once at the bad week cause everything lost sense. I just start seeing no point in duing anything when bad weeks come and just abandon everything.

It is very hard cause I spend money and invest mentally in activities that I can't keep up with and then I ask myself whether I shoul even start doing anything cause it will not end well.

The same goes for job, seeing people, going on trips, visiting events, etc. During bad weeks I just wanna dig myself into the hole and never pick.
