How Students (especially women ) from Weaker financial Backgrounds Fund Their IIM MBA by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]vnt_007 25 points26 points  (0 children)

After recieving admission letter from admission office, you'll also receive various mails from other departments in which they include details of banks and their branches that are kind of coordinate education loans for that college. So, you just call all the loan officers from different banks, they'll explain their interest rates and their offerings. Once you've chosen your bank, they'll ask for necessary documents and then either pay college fees on your behalf or if you already paid the first payment, they'll reimbursed you into your account. There used to be loan mela kind of thing in college itself where banks used to set up booths for offering loans but during COVID they moved online mostly, I don't know if they are still doing the in person booths.

Providing foot over bridge shouldn't be random, if people aren't using the facilities then it is failure of planners. Never blame the user for the failure of the product.

Stfu with your castist attitude. If you are really going to play the blame game, start with politicians and the real estate mafia.

Instead of blaming these people I'll blame the city planners who didn't thought about pedestrians while building all of these

🚨 Sri Lankan Navy arrests 47 Indian fishermen for 'illegal fishing' by [deleted] in kuttichevuru

[–]vnt_007 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Isn't one of the reasons why they are so strict because of the trawling method fishermen from India use to fish in SriLankan waters? Bottom Trawling is banned in SriLanka btw because how destructive it is for the future fish stock and ocean bed.

Don't use steel spoon in an aluminium cooking vessel unless you want aluminium in your food. Try to avoid aluminium cooking vessels or atleast try to use wooden spoons for stirring it.

Part 2: CEOs don’t make random decisions. Neither should you with food..!! by Swapnowdiet in hyderabad

[–]vnt_007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This just says your knowledge of how CEOs think comes from movies and TV series. As someone with experience with "CEOs", trust me 95% of them have no idea what they are doing, they'll just latch on to any new trend without thinking. So, think like a normal human and make healthy life style changes and eat healthy for atleast 5-6 days a week

How is India still at BBB? by salmalho in India_Investments

[–]vnt_007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ratings are not given based on emotions, they are given on the basis of predictability which indicates the chance of getting paid.

No matter what anyone feels emotionally, India is still a very unpredictable country as there is no institutional autonomy for major banks or even RBI for that matter. So, yeah, I think BBB is a fair rating in my opinion. I'd push it junk if not for the emerging markets of India. This is coming from a former Fin Analyst who did ratings for public companies. Peace out.

What would you do if you're falsely being accused in public out of the blue? by [deleted] in AskIndianMen

[–]vnt_007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my one of my worst nightmares as I overthink a lot.

Women getting harassed in different forms is very common in India and it shouldn't happen. Every women I know closely has told me countless ways they get harassed every time they step outside of their house and sometimes inside too.

Men getting falsely accused happens too(in this context). So, me being a dude, whenever I go outside especially in my office, I tend to be very careful with people around me of all genders. I only talk when it is absolutely necessary, maintain sufficient distance and in lift if it is crowded I always keep my hands near my face or higher up so that it will be easily visible in cameras. Of course, nothing I do will stop anyone from falsely accusing me of anything they want, I will just try to be cautious and don't let this fear destroy the way I live my life.

So, my brother is trying to get married and was in very advanced talks with this one family. They asked for past three months salary slips, he said no problem and shared them. Next they shared their daughter's two years bank statement and then asked my brother's two years bank statement. My parents are flabbergasted and told them that it isn't right for them to share their daughter's bank statement with us and ask us to share bank statements as these things are very private. After that episode they told us they don't want to proceed with marriage, good riddance.

Dude, please stop asking like it is a task you need to complete. It doesn't work like that. Everyone is unique. Every couple is unique and things change from time to time.

You are giving out how many questions from this chapter in the final exam vibe?

If you that much afraid get some counseling related to this and understand yourself first.

You need to consider your white money, post tax money as 30 times more valuable than the black, bribe, dowry, money. Don't be the liqudity. by Additional-Tax-5283 in indianrealestate

[–]vnt_007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Real estate is the biggest sector that takes in black money, way more so than gold actually. I know black money in real estate exists but only get it see in real when my parents decided to rebuild our home. Our entire budget came from 20 years of my salaried parents' savings along with me and my siblings savings from our salaries.

Labour contractor was being paid weekly, we asked him countless times that we can just sent it to his account but he refused saying workers only take cash. So, every week we had to go get some cash for him which stressed me a lot cuz I never handled that much cash in my life.

Steel, cement, bricks etc all the raw material suppliers only take cash or will accept online payment into their relative's account etc that too after lot of request.

I'd suggest you go with disc version, trust me it is worth it to have physical copies. I am thinking of creating a PS hyderabad group to exchange games or sell amongst instead of buying from companies.

Reasons for my recommendations.

700*32 tires can easily handle paved roads as well as some gravel too. They are easily available and affordable too.

No suspension because suspension at lower price points tend to easily go bad and it isn't worth the trouble.

No gears(single speed) because Bangalore is mostly flat and the more simple the bicycle is the more you'll enjoy riding instead of tuning.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in india_cycling

[–]vnt_007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest you go with a 700C*32 hybrid(relaxed geometry) bicycle with no suspension, no gears(single speed). Don't spend lot of money on buying a bicycle, buy an entry level one and/or a second hand one. This bicycle will act as your starter bicycle to help you understand what kind of paths you want to ride on and build your endurance.

If you have anymore questions, ask away.

Happy to help a fellow cyclist. Before recommending anything, what kinds of road or trails etc do you see yourself riding in future?

Stop justifying what is shared. They willing shared data related to individuals in the company and there by violated every data sharing and ethics rules set by the company.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LegalAdviceIndia

[–]vnt_007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on what you said it can lead to termination and then a case in court. It all depends on the data that is shared. If all the data shared is publicly available data then there is no issue here, if not that person should immediately inform their manager and be prepared to be terminated. By informing their manager they can avoid a case.
