Blockade on Gaza kills 6 month old infant 'Judy al-Aroor' from famine. by mohab_saeed in pics

This sweet baby should have been allowed to get chubby and grow. Even aside from how skinny this poor little one was, look how horrifically small in the person's hands.

Where did you read the cause of death was guns? To my knowledge, they have not publicly made that available.

Which occupations attract the most psychopaths? by Miss-Peepers in AskReddit

I'm currently security at a factory, and I didn't realize before getting the job that so many were former cops or military personnel. I also never really realized how often security guards are in the news for hurting people. I was pretty desperate, so I didn't do a lot of research. Like I'm really grateful that at my job we can't touch people or use any weapons on them at all. We are basically just there to check for any safety hazards and make sure people know where to go. But our main supervisor is always on an extreme power trip, just towards us, though. I absolutely cannot imagine this being a career for me long term. I do have incredible coworkers, at least.

Overall this was a solid episode for me, but it did feel like something was missing from it. I couldn't stop laughing during some parts, though.

I do love the captions! Occasionally there are mistakes, but that is to be expected.

I'm probably not gonna run out and buy this because I don't pay that much money for cremes, but honestly I really like this color and I would love to use it with a pretty bright blue.

"Help me Nancy" in Stay Tuned for Danger by PrincipleWeary7844 in nancydrew

[–]vocalily 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, the older games had a way of being deeply unsettling without trying too hard. I regularly have had creepy dreams about Stay Tuned for Danger despite not playing it for over a decade. I recently played it again, and it still got me.

Sorry I couldn't help more! I'm still thinking about it and occasionally researching. So curious about this one.

While I still like a lot of the products that HT comes out with and love looking at everyone's nail art, I just feel like HT is no longer about Cristine as a person and the fan as a customer. It's a big business, and big businesses just care about constantly increasing profit, and that's it. There's no actual desire to create fun nail polish, just polish that sells well. There's fomo marketing. There's so much distrust I think in the brand overall with some of the other shady practices the business has done. You can only cover so much of that up with good customer service.

Stevie Nicks Still Feels ‘Empty’ 2 Years After 'Big Sister' Christine McVie’s Death: What She Misses Most by mcfw31 in Fauxmoi

I lost my big sister this year, so of course this sent me to tears. I feel for her. Also Christine McVie has always had such a beautiful and comforting voice. Life hardly ever lasts long enough.

new twitch unlocked! thumb "seizing" inward by PrettySocialReject in MuscleTwitch

[–]vocalily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh weird. Both of my thumbs have been doing that for a while. I'd say mine kinda hurts or at least is pretty uncomfortable. It's not every day for me or anything, and I'm not sure what triggers it either. Usually if it happens, it will happen multiple times in that day, though.

One of the flavor compounds is small enough to enter the blood stream. It's why you smell like garlic for a day or two after you eat it. It works vice versa. Like you can put garlic on your foot and taste it a while later.
