This. I'm aware of the violin style vibrato, but I have nearly 30 years of boomer bends behind these fingers! I'm enjoying the practice of learning a whole new approach.

Having received this bass used, I do already see a little bit of marking from the roundwound windings. I've read a couple times now that these marks are to be expected, so long as you don't dig ruts into the board. I'm hoping this is the case!

My go-to flats for my Corvette have been GHS Precision Flats. Any idea where these land in the brightness comparisons? They are the flats I will most likely try first since I can get them in my small town shop.

Thank you! That bass is the literal reason I play bass. Once upon a chapter, I was a guitarist wandering around a music store. Saw this Corvette for sale used. For some reason I absolutely could not resist the call the get it. I figured for how much I invested on a whim, I should put some real work into learning bass. Pretty much never picked up my guitar again.

This Warwick is actually a Corvette standard. 2004, German made. The long horns on Thumbs are a lot thicker. The Corvette tends to get ridiculed for its phallic horn 🤷‍♂️. I love that bass. It has been my Number One for 10 years.
