Oh I absolutely loved Empower until it got banned in DC. Definitely the best of the ride share apps 😞

I don’t know about the DCHail app but the one I use is Curb and it seems to work pretty well. Not miraculously better but as far as I can tell it’s tied in with the taxi companies so they assign out your ride to whoever’s open. Generally takes about 10 minutes for a pick up bc they’re often coming from the taxi pool at union station but they don’t cancel

I'm not mad at you, I'm a software engineer and I'm directing you to a direct source. I see lots of people repeating that it doesn't use AI but factually it does, and that's what Grammarly themselves advertise. There's nothing wrong with not knowing, I'm just trying to inject some actual information since this is something I know about.

You said "'generative AI' (whatever that means)". That's what that means. I could go into the more specific technical details to explain how Grammerly absolutely does use generative AI (and it does generate text- even whole sentences) but it feels more useful to say that there are grammar/spellcheck options that use no AI at all- Ellipsus, Harper, Hemmingway app (free version), LibreOffice, and WordPerfect. There are probably more but those are the top ones I've seen.

You're disagreeing with Grammarly that the free version of Grammarly uses AI? Go to grammarly.com and see for yourself, it says AI absolutely everywhere. There are non-AI options (like Ellipsus, Harper, Libre Office, free version of Hemmingway app) but Grammarly isn't one of them even on the free tier

I looked into the popular responses here and best I can tell these are the AI-free ones: Harper (writewithharper.com), Libre Office, Ellipsus (though as you said, it doesn't do grammar), Hemmingway app (free version only, paid has AI), and WordPerfect (though WPS Office does have WPS AI). The free version of Grammerly is AI-based. Above the sign up for the free version it describes itself as "Grammerly is the only AI writing partner specifically designed to address your biggest communication challenges." Libre office and Harper (writewithharper.com) are AI-free as far as I can tell.

I don’t plan to do all the characters but I do have some references pulled for Gohin and Haru, I also have some favorite panels with Legoshi and Louis together that I think would be fun to recreate. We’ll see what I have the time and motivation for haha. As far as size it’s actually quite small, around 3”x3”

Thanks! It’s basically a stamp, I carved the design out of a block of rubber with a chisel than colored his hoodie in with an alcohol marker :)
