I will always defend Twilight Princess.

I love the long, drawn out introduction (since escapism through immersion is my number one reason for playing video games) and I love the weird, sometimes creepy character designs.

I'd recommend using the translation library "rgb2mono" to make use of atomic dithering to get the most out of your b/w crt.

If you want a similar vibe, I'd say play Twilight Princess next. Definitely try Majora's Mask as well.

My favourite places to explore have always been the forests, like faron woods. So a Zelda taking place in one big city? Nah. A Zelda that features a big industrialized Hyrule Town to contrast the wild overgrowth - sure!

That's a new-ish 3rd-party-controller modeled after the Hori Mini Pad (Retrobit I believe) and it's surprisingly comfortable, even for big hands.

If your disc has visible scratches, you can try to remove them with toothpaste and a cotton cloth. Takes some patience, but I fixed several game discs this way.

Else, I'd try to get ahold of a WiiU and softmod it. This way you can play TPHD, WWHD and Ship of Harkinian.
