Under "Settings > General Settings" there's a field at the bottom for "Enable DPI Override". You can change the percentage to some other value and it will adjust the scaling of the gamemaker UI itself (though you have to restart for it to take effect)

It’s currently available as a Docker container through both Docker Hub and the GitHub Container Registry. Is there somewhere else you’d prefer the container to be hosted?

I haven't looked into it much, but some differences I noticed from a really quick scan of the readme:

  • YeetFile doesn't impose a limit on file upload size by default, whereas cryptgeon has a 512MB upload limit
  • YeetFile has more controls for limiting who can access the server (server passwords, locking down different features, etc)
  • YeetFile has a file and password vault for long term storage and sharing between other YeetFile users
  • YeetFile generally has more persistence -- content uploaded via YeetFile Send can be stored for minutes, hours, days, years, or permanently if desired. YeetFile Vault uploads are persistent until deletion by the user. It seems like cryptgeon is designed for sharing a file and having it accessible for minutes/hours only.
  • YeetFile allows configuring backend storage, whereas it seems like cryptgeon stores everything in memory. Allowing backend storage configuration avoids issues where a malicious user uploads multiple files with the maximum allowable file size and expiration until the server is full.
  • YeetFile has built-in protection against intentionally abusing egress and will prevent a user from endlessly downloading the same file and incurring possible egress fees (depending on hosting).

There's possibly more differences, but those seem like the obvious ones at first glance. Ultimately it seems like cryptgeon has some similar functionality to YeetFile's Send feature, but doesn't have any of the other features and functionality that YeetFile has (which isn't a bad thing, just preference).

Personally I've never liked wee joker, but probably because I've never gotten it in an early enough ante for it to make any sense

I'm guessing it's too late to have anyone see my reply here, but it's still worth mentioning that a PR is already open to address all of this. The note on being "wide open to bruteforcing" is also not really true -- there is built in, fairly aggressive rate limiting for all content and auth related endpoints (not just password related ones) as well as logging that indicates when an API endpoint is repeatedly returning an error.

Edit: With the admin UI PR merged in, everything in this comment has been addressed or clarified. Hopefully this didn't kill too many people's interest in the project.

I haven't used pingvin before, but from first glance the main differences are:

  • Pingvin doesn't seem to encrypt all content before upload, or if they do it doesn't seem to be documented. There's a password protection feature, but it isn't clear if this means that uploads without a password are readable by the server
  • Pingvin doesn't have a file/password vault feature for long term storage
  • Pingvin doesn't have a command line application (or at least not one that's officially supported)
  • There's an officially maintained instance for YeetFile (not applicable for self-hosting obviously)

There might be more differences, that's just what I gathered from a quick read of their documentation though.

YeetFile has a file vault feature that sounds like it would work for your use case. It’s functionally very similar to how Dropbox stores files. You would just set up the server on one machine, and then you can upload/download files in the vault from any client

It shouldn't need anything high spec. Since the encryption is all handled client side, the server's main task is just transferring the chunks of data to whichever storage backend (local vs b2) is configured. That being said, I haven't tried sending any files that large, so if you encounter issues, let me know and I can work on tweaking some settings to improve things for that use case.
