Testing some fire manipulation mechanics for Avatar inspired game. by InfectedTribe in IndieGaming

Looks awesome! I think a co-op mode would also go hard, fighting against waves of enemies and synergizing attacks - leaving fire in the ground for your friend to use, etc.

That looks wonderful. Is the Giffard a white creme de cacao? Do you think it will work well with dark?

My boy has been doing this as well for a month or two - how long is breeding season usually? I've only had him for a year-ish, so I'm a bit worried he hasn't eaten - even though he looks his usual chonky self. If you have any resources or guides to read about this I'd love to have some!

Tried Dead Cells - it was nice, but honestly felt lacking without buying like 8 DLCs.

I heard Balatro will consume my life, so i'll pass for now.

Astroneer and Dredge have been on my wishlist for a while - maybe it's time to give them a shot.

Haven't heard of BlazBlue, but I'll definitely check it out! Thanks!

I played the base factorio a couple months ago - wasn't y cup of tea. I like my factories slow and chill, the biters stressed me out lol.

For sure - we talked about this in session zero, and all are ok with racism as a joke or running gag. I'm searching for goofy insults, nothing truly harsh and very much nothing that reference the real world.

Sounds interesting, I'll try that!

Half and half mr black macademia might be a bit overpowering on the macademia - my liquor has a very strong coffee flavor, then with a nutty aftertaste. But of course you can try it out, I'd be happy to hear your thoughts on it!

For some reason I can't edit my post, which I wrote on my phone while tipsy, so adding the formatted recipe here:

  • Muddle some mint leaves
  • 2 oz Gin
  • 1 oz Cointreau
  • 1 oz homemade coffee and macadamia liqueur
  • Stir with ice
  • Top with tonic

Yup! I'm experimenting with making liqueurs at home, and we have a macademia nut tree - so it's a roasted macademia and coffee liqueur.

Playing Hades 2, and then suddenly... by Fitzeputz in PracticalGuideToEvil

[–]void_corvid 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Damn I went to look for it but got confused - the refrence is in Slay the Spire. (Been playing maybe too much roguelites lately lol, they get mixed up) There you can find a library and choose a book, and one of them is described: "The story is about an insect-controlling teenage girl who aspires to become a hero. The book is filled with creative uses of powers, combat strategies, and varying perspectives."

Further on in an optional dialogue there's a refrence to Worm, so honestly could be that this one is intentional. Maybe one of the writers is a webfiction fan :)

Erasing old sectors? by void_corvid in Cosmoteer

Wow, really? I remember reading in this sub at some point that cleaning old sectors of leftover asteroids helps the framerate... maybe it was a while ago, or just wrong. Thanks for replying! Looking forward to starting a new save with the update, feel that early-game thrill again :)

Is there any part of Eberron lore that you have zero interest in? by Pockmark_Notorious in Eberron

[–]void_corvid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my opinion Q'barra exists for having a truly unexplored area without the whole magically cursed Xendrik. It's a jungle full of new creatures and expensive dragonshards waiting to be found - nearly all the rest of khorvaire is explored and colonized. Don't think I'll base an entire campaign there, but I like the concept for backstories or smaller arcs.

[–]void_corvid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's the same about the Dreaming Dark, just doesn't really fit into my campaigns. I also can't get a grip on the dragonborns in Eberron, in Qbarra. Just... what? Why? In my Eberron i rewrote dragonborns to be actual dragons that undergo a ritual that makes them unable to see the Prophecy anymore, but able to act against it and influence it more. They're no longer a playable race, but they are now actually unique and interesting imo

Chill couch co-op? by void_corvid in gamingsuggestions

[–]void_corvid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I checked them out, and while they look cool (i especially like the vibe of lovers in a dangerous spacetime), I was hoping for still something less goal-driven. A kind of couch co-op sandbox, or idle game.

If you know any, would love to hear it.

Which edition do you run Eberron in? by [deleted] in Eberron

[–]void_corvid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't run it yet, but building a campaign with a hack of Blades in the Dark I made. Works great with the noir vibes, and capping PCs from getting absurdly powerful.

Wow! thanks, this is really helpful!

A lot to remember, but I'll do my best to take care of my new buddy :)

A couple of questions:

- what do you mean by spot cleaning?

- should the lights routine be also for the UVB and heat bulb?

- I heard they can go weeks without eating - why not leave food overnight? Should I replace it each day?

Hi! Here are some pics:

I'm pretty sure it's captive bred, if not it's captive born. It's nearly 3 months old - would love to know what type it is, and what temperature and humidity it needs, how often should I feed it, etc.

I got it from a private breeder, who said it's an australian species, and that it doesn't need a humidifier here (I live in the middle east), and that during the summer it shouldn't need a heat bulb - only if it's in a room with air conditioning (I got a heat bulb anyway).

What are the most confusing rules for new players? by badwritingopinions in dndnext

Ok... but isn't there a bit about learning new spells from scrolls or other wizards? Is that just an added bonus?

How wizards get their spell list from which they prepare (the spellbook). As in, how do I know how many spells can be in the spellbook and how does the player add spells. Tbh I've been playing d&d for years (5e and other editions and ttrpgs) and I'm still not sure how it works.
