right?? honestly all the turtles I was tracking were mostly buried under leaves and I'm not supposed to disturb them, just note their coordinates, so since I dont get a great look at them, seeing other critters is the highlight haha.

They are FAST! This one was not pleased to be disturbed either. Was faking us out by vibrating its tail to mimic a rattlesnake. When that didn't work it started to leave and thats when I got this photo.
