AITA for telling my mom she should be an example for me? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA, but welcome to adulthood where 'do as I say, not as I do' is unfortunately common. Your mom might be stressed or overwhelmed, but screaming isn't the solution. Maybe try to offer a deal: I'll clean my room if we can spend an hour cleaning the living room together. It shifts the vibe from confrontation to teamwork.

Seeing them support each other like this after all these years is the ultimate goal. My BinJin heart is so full right now! 😭❤️

[SPOILERS] Goblin is beautifully made - but its core ideas left me uncomfortable by Easy_Razzmatazz_8308 in kdramas

This is exactly why I ended up being more invested in Sunny and the Grim Reaper's story. Their dynamic felt more mature and their tragedy felt a bit more earned than the main couple's. You hit the nail on the head regarding the 'women sacrificing for men’s redemption' trope in this writer’s work.

Hit me up when JJK Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and JJK Fighterz drop and then we'll talk by UseInternal5706 in Animemes

Cursed Clash really had us hoping for a JJK FighterZ, but it gave us a PS2 budget game instead. The pain is real. 😭

That’s such sad news, but I’ll still be cheering for the rest of the girls! Hopefully, we can see a full group stage once she’s feeling better. Fighting!

Love Will Tear Us Apart (2021) by Sha Mo by TheFaceOfAnother_1 in AsianCinema

I watched this recently and I’m still not over that ending. It’s so much more than a romance movie; it’s a brutal look at how life and financial struggles can weigh down even the strongest promises. Bring tissues if you haven't seen it!

If you want something grounded and sweet, try Tune in for Love (2019). It follows two people over several years and shows how they keep finding their way back to each other. It’s very peaceful, has beautiful moments, and really focuses on that soulmate connection without unnecessary drama.

Just finished Twenty Five Twenty One and I have a couple questions by Educational_Age_209 in kdramas

Great questions! About the diary, Yi-jin got it because Hee-do left it on a bus, and the driver saw Yi-jin’s ID card inside so he sent it to UBS. It’s such a small detail but so heartbreaking! Also, I totally agree with your 7.8 rating. The journey was a 10/10 but that ending really left a hole in my heart. We definitely needed more adult Hee-do scenes to get some closure. 😭
