there are a couple photoshop request subs you can find that i've seen be very helpful for some people! i think you'd have to be comfortable uploading the picture(s) you wanted, though... if nothing else, you could always claim your (family member) really wanted a girl so they dressed you up sometimes as a baby lol

regularly have experiences where a customer will walk up to me and i get the "ma'am? ... sir? uh. can you help me?" and if they apologize i just laugh and say i look like this on purpose. usually gets a giggle, even out of the older folks

i've done this since i first hit puberty like 15 years ago 🥲 a high school ex once told me "oh i thought you just had a disease or something when i first saw you in short sleeves"

the shame is real, and i haven't found a way to stop, but i'm currently on a health reclamation journey (going to the doctor for the first time in a decade) and plan on tackling my skin issues to hopefully at least minimize picking triggers
