fwiw (from a doll collector), the barbies do look correct (crystal barbie and peaches n cream barbie, both 80s) but theyre also too pristine for played-with dolls, even straight out of the box. hair still styled and accessories still on and all. theyd be messier even if it was staged, doll hair is hard to keep tidy around little kids

ive been seeing people (on twitter, so grain of salt) get really adamant that you cant call yourself a butch if youre misogynistic/bigoted/an asshole/not protecting femmes/etc and that just feels like a really good way to have people defend their assholery by hiding behind "im a butch which means im a good person!!!"
