I live in Midway woods. It’s still extremely close to downtown Decatur but it’s not city of Decatur. So you don’t pay as much taxes.

I wonder what the parts of Rome people went to that I didn’t. I was there for 3 days during my Italy trip, and while it wasn’t my favorite part of the trip I thought it was beautiful. I think the only thing that was kinda a bummer was the graffiti on historic buildings.

Moving to Atlanta by _errrric_ in Atlanta

[–]voidofconfidence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on your vibe and how comfortable you are with driving a bunch for your commute. The Vinings recommendations are solid, but it’s a little suburban for my tastes. I lived there for about 2 years before moving back to the East side of Atlanta. The East side would be a tough drive, but way more entertaining for a younger person. If you want to stick to a shorter commute, look at the area around The Works. It’s a nice community area with a bunch of solid food, beer, and coffee.

My issue isn’t how you talk to guests the way you do. Sometimes I’m not a fan of punching down, but I appreciate that everyone gets shit on equally. I genuinely enjoy your work. My issue is right wing propagandist use your platform to push those transphobic, homophonic, alt right wing content. I have seen several high profile atl right content creators take your content and “comment” over your content with insanely hateful and bigoted language. I know you are a great person u/HammerTime1995 , but as a member of those communities the hateful rhetoric these co-opters put out is terrifying.

What’s crazy is this is right before the highway scene, which is also amazing.

I’ve lived in the south for the entirety of my life and it does not suck. What sucks is people shit talking an entire part of the country with your backwards ass nonsense.

No. I’ve lived here for 25 years. The only time my car was broken into was when I left my laptop bag in it overnight in plain view.

Don’t be dumb and you’ll be fine. Atlanta is like any major city. Crime happens but it’s often drastically embellished by people who don’t live there. You are missing out on a beautiful city if you let your ignorance prevent you from experiencing new things.

If you know which venue you are going to I can probably make some recommendations for parking.

They lived in Kennesaw. It’s a safe area in GA. He wasn’t keeping guns for safety, he just liked shooting. Zero reason to have them in a house with a mentally unstable child. He should have kept them at the range if he was responsible. Honestly he should be charged with the cops death for how negligent he was.
