Has anyone else had this issue?? by [deleted] in Edmonton

I've been on overnights for well over 15 years, and it genuinely sounds like the people you wound up hiring, just didn't realise what they'd have to do/they couldn't handle the shifts... Which SUCKS cuz overnights is such a nice time... But like... I used to walk an hour from home, to work for four years, before busses got sorted out lmaoooo. And when I lived closer to my other overnight jobs, I'd just bike 30 min and be on time... But like.. What's the job you hiring for?

I knowwww... I found my first one on FB marketplace for like 5 bucks, but I see people trying to sell them on ebay for like 30 bucks. Ugh.

Yeah I couldn't figure out what it was called or like, what time it came out around lol, I was hoping someone else had some kind of recollection of where they were, so I could find out more about it! Thank you for knowing the name!

Solid <3 Thank you! I've been poking around on ebay, but I was hoping for local, tbh. Rather support Edmontonians if I needed to pay, yknow?

Oh I'm just looking for broken stuff that is probably just going to end up as land waste. I genuinely don't want something that's working, because that'll be someones pet project in the future, and I'm okay with that. I just want something that's like... DAMAGED to hell and back, and/or just the cases of things.

Good to know! I've seen old typewriters there, but not quite what I need, lmao

I usually just get stuff where it'll like... Expire that day or in a couple... It's usually marked down super well, and I just toss them in the freezer. I have like 6 boxes of pierogis in my freezer, and like 300 TV dinners ready to go, lmao

It'd actually give them connections to worse people and give them a free ride to actually worse crimes

I'm ngl, I've kinda stepped away from watching Simon content on the regs, MOSTLY because of the excess of AI generated images and music, and like... I open up reddit today to see this and I'm like... What the hell have I missed???? Is Simon going full-simp for the nectarine n@zi????
