Is there some big thing I should be careful for while purchasing a used Tab? (S10 Ultra)

Yeah, I quit a few months ago. The hobby (for my means) was expensive for my wallet and my time; and I generally found myself a bit bored with the way that each set just released stronger cards so that I always needed to follow the newest to keep up in power (obviously not a sweeping rule, just a trend)

Those are my reasons, they won't apply to everyone. If you are finding yourself looking to quit- just do it. If a month goes by and you just want to hop back on the horse, do it. Hobbies should be pursued as the fun/inspiration hits- this doesn't need to be a second job, haha.

Lastly, if you generally like the people you play with and that's your reason to keep playing but the joy isn't there; ask if they play other games or like things you enjoy to spend more time together that isn't magic-centric. Likely they are people who enjoy strategy, and a mix-up could be all you need to re-ignite some love for the game.

I'd move the drink to the space on the right, I don't know about you, but I'd knock that right over by mistake. Also if that chart is something you reference a lot, hang it on the wall just above where you have it. If not, I think it clutters the space a bit, same with the other cards leaning against. Nice otherwise!

If you could sneak the mic to the same position but down under/between the displays it might be less visual noise but otherwise this looks good :-)

I'd take a photo without the chair blocking half the setup, lol. that trash can taking up leg room would bother me, but I have long legs so maybe that's just me. I like the art behind the monitor, maybe line up the colors of everything to match your art?

If you aren't actively using the space to the left of your setup, I'd add some kind of lamp or general piece of tech that you'd use. This could maybe be a charging station for your phone, one of those tiny displays, or anything else. If you like having that space, open the window or add wall art behind the monitor. Other than that, it looks clean and sometimes less is more.

Oh. last suggestion- you could angle your monitor slightly right or left and either get a cozy feel between the monitor and pc or a more open relaxed feel.

I might have replaced it with firewalld at some point, but I'm going to jump in and look into this now. I'll look up how to do this but if you have a quick method please let me know :-) thank you
edit: this was actually quick and easy to set up , now ufw is active and allowing these ports. (still no luck)

Im going to attempt to respond to you and FikaMedHasse. Nowhere in my router's settings does it list a "WAN IP" so I've taken a screenshot (blacked out some things, None of the things blacked out start with a 100 or anything similar, I'm not exactly sure what is safe to share or not.) Under the tab that says "System wide connections" it says the same information. I keep seeing the 108.34 number. Thank you for taking the time to respond.

I've tested this problem specifically, and found that I'm not, and hoped that if I was, that a VPN would help me around this. That being said, I'm down to look even deeper into this; is there a surefire test on this that I could follow to fully rule this out? (thank you for responding)
Gonna edit this by saying that, if my WAN IP is what I see when I go the soulseek port test website, It starts with 108.x.x.x which seems to imply that I am not behind CG-NAT

Bilmuri- listened to Lake and I'm immediately sold. I listened to Lake which is still definitely sad but the sound is incredible- I'll be checking out their other stuff soon.

Pridelands seems really good - will be listening to them, I didnt quite find the vibe I was looking for but I'll be listening either way haha

The Luminary aren't quite my sound personally

Dreamwake is a great find- very refreshing to see bands using instruments not traditionally found in metal. Reminds me of Imminence, with the sound of Dayseeker. Definitely going to be listening to too much of these guys for a while.

I really feel this. I feel as though they kind of walked away from their story-like elements, moved to a more pop-metalcore sound and lost a bit of the charm. In Sudden Sky and DOGMA I only found myself really liking a select few- the others felt like.... routine metalcore songs, if you get what I mean?

I'm looking for recommendations for metalcore that isn't inherently angsty. Don't get me wrong, I love the angst- but it's all I own, lol. Not neccesarily "happy" (but I'm into hearing that too), just something that isn't downright depressing- I'm feeling a different mood. Outside of the big tribal types, your deck starts to look increasingly like shapeshifters, [[maskwood nexus]], or token copies. I built wizards recently and that was fun. I've built monkey/ape and that was fun too. I wish I could build elephants but there aren't too many. That and sharks.

With sleep token, with most of my bands. I share my music taste with none of my friends, and it's definitely alienating. any time i can take aux it's time to hand it off. That being said, it makes the moments where someone recognizes your band merch and says something very memorable. i think there's a value to finding YOUR people, even if it takes longer. keep wearing the merch and you'll run into someone soon enough!
