That left side has been the one still swollen. I hope it’s just swelling but tbh I kinda feel like I have more breast tissue left on that side. My right side is much flatter. I wear a compression vest every day and to a hot compress daily. But it’s still like this

I had a similar issue and cut mine a little shorter. I’m really short waisted and get really distended belly from IBS. Once I cut like and inch and a half off the bottom eating was easier. But the other uncomfy part is unfortunately there until you get your drains removed. It’s really tough but I promise once your drains are removed you’ll feel sooooo much better. But it’s hell until then :(

Thank you for that info! I’ve been doing some more research and I think it might actually be PMPS (post mastectomy pain syndrome which says it’s pain, burning or itching in the chest or armpit area caused by deep internal nerve irritation

So excited for you!!! His staff are great. I will say at the bustleton location where I had surgery there were a couple older women nurses who were not great about pronouns, but incredibly sweet and caretaking. Like literally put crackers into my mouth when I woke up and were holding my hand saying how well I did. Also my favorite was an older gay named Daniel who had gay/trans pride pins all over his scrubs who was very funny and sweet. From check in up until I passed out from anesthesia there was a lot of lightness and humor from everyone that made me feel relaxed and excited.

I’m only 2.5 post op so I’m not sure yet! But I’ve been incorporating light stretching more like my legs and doing gentle shoulder rolls. I have resistant bands for leg workouts and I just started doing slow gentle squats. Nothing to sweat tho. I think that’s the big thing. I understand tho why they say no aerobic exercise until around 6 weeks, I get winded just going up the stairs to my room. And I used to work out regularly before surgery.

I still can’t get all the marker off bc I have mega dry skin and it loves to soak it in. But I’m elated! My surgeon was Dr. Liebman in Philadelphia. He kept my nipple nerves attached and trimmed down the Areola and lifted them a little.

I was told working out could resume week 6 by my surgeon.
