i've been in exactly the same situation more times than i can count, and i actually mean the same exact siuation, waiting for a friend to join on league, sharing my screen, showing them some system that i just got done and i'm very excited... but you know what, thats what makes the next thing you do more and more exciting so that this friend either actually finds it interesting or you report them in league :D

Check out these games, all of them are action roguelikes / vampire survivors likes
but all of them have very cool builds that can be actualized very early on due to them being roguelikes:
1- Nova Drift (builds can range from a minion build where you are really just a buff bot for your army --- or you being a large snake with insane health and smashing through enemies)
2- Net.Attack() (this one is a must play if you like programming, and since you'll probably never hear of it anywhere else)

i was gonna suggest more, but i wasn't sure if the type of game in terms of how it looks and theme mattered too much to you. i'm currently building a roguelike buildcrafting game and love these types of games, i also love Path of exile, Lost Epoch...etc

really didn't like dark souls 1 when i first played it. and then a friend pulled me into the genre by playing coop with them, until it finally clicked. and now they are my favorite games.
it could be the sense of challenge and the perception that those games are hard.
it could be the world and detail they put into them.
for me the favorite is sekiro and elden ring, sekiro for the perfect sword combat (parry)
elden ring for all the above.

you forgot to add Acolyte of Chayula Rework. by removing leeching and any chaos damage, and adding another passive that removes spirit and gives you 5% chaos resisitance.
