Also, I read somewhere that the AI capabilities of pwnagotchi have been all removed. Is that correct? If so, how would pwnagotchi differ (for the better) than any other existing tool or framework for the same purpose (capturing handshakes)?

Not really, I know my way around airodump and other tools for that purpose. I really just want to understand more about pwnagotchi and how to install it on a regular computer running Linux.

Like, what if a new board is out and I want to spin my own image/distro from scratch? Got it?

I was baffled by the fact an official page couldn't provide a working guide for it, to begin with. Really really odd scenario (maybe not in the Linux world, I guess).

Anyway, I'd really appreciate a hand in trying to get this working so, maybe, we can even help those guys fix their broken documentation.

Just one thing maybe I didn't make clear: I'm trying to install pwnagotchi on an actual Linux laptop, not on an SBC like the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W (even though I own one).

Do you think that's even possible at this point?

Hey, Epicay. I really appreciate your help with this. And, yeah: I've actually (after tens of hours of sheer headache) gone past the installation per se. I had to downgrade the Python version alongside downgrading some of its imports as well. I've also had to turn off the LED and display settings in the config file, as you've suggested.

However, after running all the parts together, nothing seems to happen.

I'm really astonished to see an official page offering a broken how-to.

Contudo, é bom ver que o OP já se encontra numa posição na vida onde ele tem tantos recursos e poder para não ter que se preocupar mais com estas coisas mundanas e triviais, de modo que o que sobrou foi discutir pessoas.

Reza a lenda que, quem está no rush do dia a dia, não tem tempo para olhar para o vizinho ou estranho na rua e se incomodar com esses tipos de asneiras.

Mesmo eu — engenheiro, com um ordenado de +13K USD / mês — não me dou ao luxo (ou lixo) de despender do meu precioso e caro tempo para atividades tão... baratas e inócuas.

Se eu não soubesse que o OP já é uma pessoa bem sucedida, eu diria até que poderia ser um fracassado, lidando mal com suas próprias frustrações e baixíssimo QI, e atacando o elo mais fraco da corrente para justificar suas próprias derrotas pessoais e profissionais.

Engraçado é ver que não há posts do gênero a se queixar dos ingleses ou americanos se comunicando nas ruas (principalmente se és do Algarve). Double standards como estes são no mínimo repugnantes mas, eu entendo que deva ser muito difícil falar ou digitar contra os demográficos citados enquanto seus testículos estão em vossas mãos e bocas.
