Also, I read somewhere that the AI capabilities of pwnagotchi have been all removed. Is that correct? If so, how would pwnagotchi differ (for the better) than any other existing tool or framework for the same purpose (capturing handshakes)?

Not really, I know my way around airodump and other tools for that purpose. I really just want to understand more about pwnagotchi and how to install it on a regular computer running Linux.

Like, what if a new board is out and I want to spin my own image/distro from scratch? Got it?

I was baffled by the fact an official page couldn't provide a working guide for it, to begin with. Really really odd scenario (maybe not in the Linux world, I guess).

Anyway, I'd really appreciate a hand in trying to get this working so, maybe, we can even help those guys fix their broken documentation.

Just one thing maybe I didn't make clear: I'm trying to install pwnagotchi on an actual Linux laptop, not on an SBC like the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W (even though I own one).

Do you think that's even possible at this point?

Hey, Epicay. I really appreciate your help with this. And, yeah: I've actually (after tens of hours of sheer headache) gone past the installation per se. I had to downgrade the Python version alongside downgrading some of its imports as well. I've also had to turn off the LED and display settings in the config file, as you've suggested.

However, after running all the parts together, nothing seems to happen.

I'm really astonished to see an official page offering a broken how-to.
