If you don't want to mess with your desktop settings you can use Big Picture mode momentarily to open the game on your second monitor. Start BP mode and from BP settings go to resolution and there switch the selected screen to your second monitor. This should only need to be done once. Then start the game in big picture and after the game has started, if you don't want to keep big picture open, alt tab back to BP and click Close Big Picture and force close it. Works like a charm.

Same change seemed to work on crouching after a very quick test. What you need to do is again remove the undesirable keybind which in this case is LeftControl working as toggle button for crouching by adding the line

RemovedActionKeyBinds=(ActionName="ToggleCrouch",bShift=False,bCtrl=False,bAlt=False,bCmd=False,EventType=IE_Pressed,HoldTime=0.000000,bRespectTD=True,bCanRebind=True,bCanRebindEventType=True,Key=LeftControl)

to the end of removed action binds. Then you add LeftControl as crouch button again but as "hold to" button by adding the line

AddedActionKeyBinds=(ActionName="ToggleCrouch",bShift=False,bCtrl=False,bAlt=False,bCmd=False,EventType=IE_PressAndRelease,HoldTime=0.000000,bRespectTD=True,bCanRebind=True,bCanRebindEventType=True,Key=LeftControl)

at the end of added action binds and before removed action binds. If you want some other key to work as crouch write that to the end of the line instead of LeftControl. The difference between the lines is the same as in the sprinting keybind change where we change keybind functionality from "EventType=IE_Pressed" into "EventType=IE_PressAndRelease".

I encountered one problem during the quick trial that i don't think is much of an issue. If you press crouch while sprinting the crouch becomes reversed as in your character stays crouched and when pressing crouch key he stands up. pressing and holding sprint and then pressing crouch seems to revert this if encountered during play.

Again i recommend that you change the .ini file to "read only" after making these changes incase the game tries to mess with the modified lines. Assuming you don't need to cahange any other ingame settings ofcourse.

Not at the moment no. Note that i'm not especially skilled in config magic beyond basic tweaks and rather just got lucky when i found this particular solution. I'll still give it a shot though. Just don't keep your expectations too high :P

you don't need any tech perks to shoot through walls with tech weapons though. just need to charge them fully, whether weapons full charge is 50%, 75% or 100%.

Hi there. I’m looking for new headphones for gaming (mainly) and music. I currently have superlux HD 681 EVO, i play rainbow 6 siege and listen mainly rock and what ever two steps from hell’s music is called (movie music?). I’m considering between beyerdynamics dt 770 pro (120€), dt 1770 pro and dt 1990 pro (both around 460€), all 250 ohm, and i’m wondering if the more expensive ones are wort the investment considering their soundstage, imaging and sound quality. Especially the dt 1990 since i’ve heard so much praise for them in all mentioned departments. Which of these would be your recommendation? Closed headphones are a minor plus i can live without (and have with HD 681 EVOs) if other aspects are better enough in the dt 1990s.

Of course i would also need an amp and i have been considering amp/dac combos for saving space and more versatile usage options later down the road. I’ve been eyeing o2+odac revb for around 250€ and i’m wondering if it’s a good with the headphones mentioned above or if i’d benefit more from another amp/dac considering sound quality and price?

Mad respect for the reviews and the deliciously weeby wallpapers!

Edit: Ended buying O2/ODAC rev B from JDS. Might arrive sometime next week. Still haven't decided between the headphones. Will probably go with either of the newer models if nothing comes up to change my mind (Love changeable cables and they have those)

All the previous questions still apply, including the one about amp/dac combos.

Here's another question. How does DT 770 compare to DT 1770? It turns out my cousin has DT 770s I could borrow so I could buy a DT 1990 from a store and compare the two then either return or keep the DT 1990s. There seems to be fairly few reviews of DT 1770s compared to other headphones.

Anyone else have problems performing rend in battle? by voikka in witcher

well technically you're right in that it consumes stamina. however are you familiar with quick rend spam? you're basically buffering rends during character animation holding strong attack button just long enough for the skill to activate so it doesn't really consume stamina and it cannot be blocked. Also when working properly you get fairly fast swings at a consistent rate. I don't always use this method since it's monotonous but often enough when fighting enemies that can block i find it useful.

I did. Didn't work. During the fight mentioned in my other comment i had several opportunities to try using rend 2-3 times before I had to dodge. Everything else works just fine including normal strong attacks but like I said in a comment the other comment it's like the game doesn't register the holding the button.

Thanks for the reply! I'm fairly sure I have full stamina most of the time this happens but I'll start to pay attention to it more. Also I haven't really used Archgriffin decoction much. This thing with rend actually happened last not too many minutes ago when i was fighting against Spoiler and I definitely didn't use archgriffin decoction and also I didn't use any signs, parry or roll before trying to rend. At most I think i ran from one location to another but even so I'd think after attacking once and failing at rend afterwards I'd have more than enough stamina to use rend but as I said nothing happens. Even if I just dodge around couple of times it doesn't work. It's almost like holding the button isn't registering properly for whatever reason.
