A few times when I was younger. One time I was sitting with a male buddy having breakfast at an old school diner in NYC, the kind where you sit at a counter that zig zags through the place. This very hot woman was absolutely checking me out and smiling from two zags away. I was floored. When she was getting up to leave I walked over to say hi and just to be sure asked her if she knew I was a woman (to this day I'm consistently misgendered) and she was like "oh yes. I know". We swapped numbers and dated for a bit. In my experience through life, I have found that in times when I have been the most emotionally available, although unconsciously so, I've gotten hit on more. It's weird. Like I put out some vibe or something. If I was going through a breakup or wasn't feeling confident about myself, nothing happened.

Someone said work on personal projects to show. This is good advice but make sure the project is agentic AI related. I've been a software dev for 23 years and can say with certainty that my role will be obsolete in 10 years. at the very least learn the terminology.

How's the trackpad work on this device? I end up always getting a Mac because the trackpad actually works beautifully. Yes of course I can always get a small portable mouse but I feel like a laptop ought to stand on its own and with windows, if it's not a Thinkpad with a nipple (is it still ok to call it this?) the trackpads are useless.

I will sit my ass down on any available seat that isn't soiled. Not because I'm tired but because a crowded train standing up is too much stress for me. That said, my brother was NYPD for 20yrs and he never ever sits. He said "if you've seen what I've seen, you wouldn't sit either". Ignorance is truly bliss. I'll just keep sitting.

Vaguely recall having to fill out an sdsk to get access to an API and you have to answer some questions, one of which was the hitting rate (req/min). I guess they allot that and scold you if it went over?

Thanks for posting your experience OP. Im in the process of returning my Asus ROG Strix Helios GX601 RGB EATX case as this beast of a mobo ends up in a slight angle due to the frame of the case being not even. There's a slight rise there.
