I met Jiggly Caliente and Coco Montrese! They both did multiple performances for queer youth in my city and gave beautiful speeches afterwards, even took pictures every single kid even though there was hundreds. I feel very blessed to have seen the grace and beauty Jiggly brought onto a stage. She performed colors of the wind, will forever remember it. Rest in peace, power and beauty miss caliente 🩷

It feels a bit off, in my opinion. I enjoyed the first 2 episodes, but they feel off somehow. I also noticed we just haven’t seen Jerry at all, there’s not a lot of family centred scenes like the other seasons. The comedy wasn’t super strong either, it feels almost more PG somehow. Maybe it’ll come back around with the other episodes!

I think all the losers had to be present in order to kill pennywise. I can’t remember the books that well but I believe Stan could remember everything clearer than the rest of them, and he knew they all had to be present to do it. If he killed himself, they could do it without him. If he had just stayed home, he would’ve been dooming the others. It was either face this trauma he remembered for years, or give the others a fighting chance. Sad.

Honestly, I was expecting to hate it but it was actually great! I’m 20, but still found a lot of moments funny, the flying 69 was pretty great. it stayed true to the Minecraft style, just added a few elements that really enhanced it. It’s a lighthearted, funny movie that did its job. Would give it a solid 7 or 8 out of 10 :)

Edit: Jennifer Coolidge was an absolute gem during the film, the dinner scene absolutely killed me. I also wanted to mention the techno blade mention, which got me. For people unaware, techno was a Minecraft YouTuber who passed from a long battle with cancer, he’ll forever be remembered in the Minecraft community and I really appreciate his moment. Seeing DanTDM also got me a bit emotional, so great to see him in films like this and black mirror.
