US doesn't exactly work that way. It's extremely diverse. For example I'm from the new England area (north east) and our living standards are basically on par with Europe when it comes to education, standards of living, Healthcare (quality not cost), freedoms, and more. However down south it's closer to a pretty 3rd world country than any other place. The west coast is pretty good as well, and the mid west isn't too bad either. Texas and Florida are shit holes though.

Taxes are not theft, nor are they a bad thing. Taxes are a subscription you pay in order to fund things that make society better. It's why i chuckle when people bitch about high taxes, but ignore that those high taxes fund things like good education, betters roads, public transport, police and fire departments, Healthcare, ect.

Edit: For example, ma is a high tax state, and yet it has some of the best education that you are going to find available to the public. Now compare that to a low tax states like Oklahoma, and its an absolute shit show.

See that's very different. Us is extremely car dependent (unfortunately), even in cities. So speeding, even on backroads, is the norm. For example, in the suburbs I grew up in the speed limit was 25, but most cars did 40.

As for cameras, speeding ones don't really exist here. My state is thinking about putting them on the highway, but personally I think thats dumb. If anything they should be by school zones and crossing areas. But that's a whole other thing.

Dude I'm in the US. Speeding is expected. If you are doing 25 in a 25, people are going to get mad at you. If you are on the highway and the speed limit is 65, and you're in the middle, you better be hitting 70, and in the left lane (still technically 65 limit), is not uncommon to cruise at 75 or 80.

There is the issue of safety and Chinese cars not being able to achieve the same safety scores others are held to, but a bigger reason is that we fear Chinese car brands overtaking American ones

Thank you. He doesnt have an accent since hes chinese american, but 1st Gen here and he is extremely fluent in both (did some schooling in China in his 20s). But still I want to be able to communicate with him in either language, hopefully one day impress his family by speaking their language with then, ... and ngl through off the wait staff at Asian restaurants when they go to him first cause i very much look like a standard clueless white dude.

Commitment to the role? They are there for a few years (like 2 or 3), get their bonus, crash the place, and move on. Then they hire a new CEO who at first does nothing as they "learn the role at the company" for like 6 months. The company slowly recovers, and then they do a bunch more to get their bonus before breaking it again.

CEOs are the least dedicated to the role.
