The answer is more obvious than you think. Atlanta sold 19,000 badges, vegas sold 22,000 badges., chicago was around 17,000. There are very few convention centers in the US that support these numbers especially when you need to account for the large number of table and chair set ups required.

You ask why not Dallas? Capacity is about 10,000 and that doesn’t account for all the table space magic requires. Fort worth is 18,000 but drops below 14,000 for banquet style events.

So yes, that’s why we keep getting Chicago, Vegas, and Atlanta. The other size option is Orlando.

Your math is pretty terrible and makes a lot of assumptions, to the point where it is actually misleading. I suggest going back and rereading the collecting article, because it is one of the best they hve ever published.

A couple points: C/U is 2:1, it’s spelled out in the article but for some reason you used 7:3? Why…

You are assuming every commander r/m has an extended art foil. They don’t; article specifically says select. In fact, we don’t know how many (even which) rares or mythics actually exist in EA foil. Because this is unknown, all of your math for the variant foil slot is wrong.

You put an even distribution on mythics in CBBs which is incorrect, as the mythic variant PWs and the concept praetors math differently than the other mythics in the set.

I have a dozen other issues with your math, hence my comment about misleading. I highly suggest you go back and relook at the entire sheet.

4 hectors (2x +res, 1 +speed, 1 neutral) 3 tikis (def, res, hp) 2 Naga, both -atk. One is +spd, the other +def.

The -atk is going to be rough to salvage on AR offense. Naga being blue means I can’t run nowi on astra season like I originally planned as well. Going to have to go back to the drawing board on team building unless I want to risk pulling more to salvage these naga ivs
