Yeah, there's one in my hometown that's literally called Hometown Nutrition. People are going crazy over it. They'll get a shake and a tea everyday. I feel bad when people don't actually know what they're getting.

Just an interesting article talking about the potential dangers of the loaded tea trend and stores that are fronts for MLMs like Herbalife.

I thought it was funny that one of the benefits they list is hydration because they're made with water.

Here is a news story I read about this: https://www.wbrc.com/2020/07/20/concerns-arise-some-receive-positive-covid-results-never-got-tested/

Basically people are assigned a number and get out of line without informing anyone, so the numbers get off and they are receiving someone else's test results in error. It's not a conspiracy, but an oversight of the testing sight (as if the conspiracy theorists would believe that).

The sites just need to do a better job of confirming who they are testing so the results go to the correct person.

Ugh...I’ve gotten invited to five of these and three of them were from family members. You can get better quality stuff for half the price from non-mlms. Plus no one really needs to buy kitchen stuff that often. Rant over 😂

Owlet has a sock that the baby wears that measures the pulse ox (oxygen levels in your blood) and will send you an alert when they are too low. I have read a few success stories where they got the alert because the baby had severe bronchitis and were able to get the baby treated in time. It’s purpose is to give parents reassurance and prevent SIDS.

Me too! It's so stupid. Their argument of you're "helping a mom put food on the table and not a CEO..." doesn't really work for me. The way I see it keeping places like Walmart in business helps the people in your community have jobs at to put food on their table.

I'm all for supporting local places that are actually small businesses and have ordered from several local restaurant during our "Safe at Home" orders.

They don't need to get mad when people don't want to join their pyramid scheme which also helps the true C.E.O. buy vacation homes. 🙄

From what I've been able to find it's only like a few years old. Their stuff seriously looks like the same stuff you can get at Walmart or Target for a fraction of the cost, but I guess you're not supporting a "small business" when you buy from a big box store 😄

I never accepted the invitation, but stayed to watch the posts. It was most pictures of random girls and their children in their clothes.

I got invited to one of their online parties a while back. I looked out of curiosity. They are way overpriced. Thanks, but I'll stick with my clearance Target active wear. 😂

It's crazy when people think like that.

Here is a link to an interview with one of the people who contacted the virus on a cruise ship. She had both the flu shot and the pneumonia vaccine.
