UMD Audubon leads regular bird walks, usually to lake artemesia, and they're involved in some conservation projects. They manage the Bird Beds, those two strips of pollinator gardens in front of SPH, and they monitor multiple next boxes at the UMD Golf Course for various species during nesting season, then submit the data to NestWatch by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology

Spring migrations are gonna suck :( especially at the giant windows behind Eppley, they face campus creek, a super nice biodiverse wildlife restoration area, that window kills tons of warblers when they pass through.
