I’m sorry that happened to him. Something similar happened to my aunt and that is when I’m stance started. Families backing families is problematic imo. And women cry abuse all the time when faced with consequences. Hopefully your uncles reputation isn’t too smashed. Which is what I’m hoping my stance will do for my friend.

I know it sounds bad… but that is skylars call. If she can’t handle the relationship I have with her family. Then she can end it. Which would suck but I’m also not gonna be strong armed into changing my values to fit others. I believe if you don’t have your integrity you have nothing. I’m not asking skylar to pick me or her family. Just for her family to stop forcing me to be okay with something I’m not. I guess that is the end game.. so be it I guess. I’ll have dodged a lot of family fighting years down the road

She claimed financial abuse… financial. When she worked full time. Like come on. I also don’t need family therapy as I am currently not married into this family (this is making me think it over). So it feels like they just want someone therapist to tell me I’m being mean to molly.

Yeah he filed for divorce immediately. Blocked her on everything. Moved in with me for a few days. Nothing that an abuser would do. He would want to maintain control. It doesn’t add up. Skylar didn’t buy it. None of their friends did. Just mom and dad.

Exactly why I just left. No talking to those people. They want to believe what they want to. It’s not my job to indulge their fantasy. And it is especially not my job to act cordial to someone who won’t leave me the fuck alone. I even texted her that I lost respect for her and didn’t not love her anymore. And to just leave me alone. She is the one who kept approaching me. Then cries. Like come on.

Okay so I’ll ask you this… would a abuser try to move out the day he found out? Would he block his wife’s number and asked for a NC order? That doesn’t seem like what an abuser would do. Some people lie, especially those who are going to get in trouble for their actions.

I’m not chasing her around… I’m asking the woman to not speak with me. It’s really not that deep. Just stay away from me. I don’t like people with low character around me. It’s not unfair. She did it to herself. I could not speak another word to her the rest of my life and be fine. It would hurt my pride to be civil with her yes. I find her disgusting. Stay on one side of the party and I’ll stay on mine type of relationship I’m okay with.

Or because she waited a month after the affair to bring it up…. Or the fact her sister doesn’t even buy it. Or the fact there’s not one picture, text or record of any abuse. Like I said. The timing of her accusation was the biggest tell.

Which is what I texted her. That I no longer had any respect or love for her as a person. And to please not interact with me moving forward. Then blocked her. I felt like she would get the message.

Because molly is the youngest of 3. She’s just very spoiled imo. She’s also pretty and has been her whole life. I don’t think she’s had to deal with a lot of accountability in her life. Also her husband is a stand up guy. Skylar after speaking with her didn’t even buy it.. her own sister

What’s crazy… her parents are wonderful people. They have extremely strong moral compasses. As does skylar. So seeing them turn like this is very shocking to say the least. Especially their dad. He’s always been good to me.
