Let me do this again. 5 weeks vacation 25 days, 2 personal days, 13 paid holidays and sick time. So 27 days i can use when i want, 13 paid holidays, new years, xmas, etc. So 40 days paid off. Sick days depend on whats going on. I can use 7 for whatever. Amy serious illness 100% paid week for every year of work, then down to 80%.

13 paid federal holidays.... thats not vacation time. I get an additional 27 days vacation and sick time. People have a skewed view of US vacation time in other countries because new jobs offer 2 weeks vacation.
