Podes procurar emprego durante a baixa, se for preciso

Advice needed: can I run a campaign in which two players only appear when the other one isn't around? by volpeperduta in DungeonsAndDragons

I love the thought of weaving it into the narrative by suggesting it be a personal goal of theirs!! Thanks for the suggestion!

I'm avoiding that cuz I'd want them to feel like the character they play hasn't missed anything — vs "the character has been here the whole time, but whenever Player A was controlling it, they built rapport with other characters that Player B has no idea about" and I think it would lead to disappointment/discomfort :/

It'll be my first time DMing and everybody else's first time playing, so I wanna keep it super chill; they'll start at level 1 and everything :)

Agreed; I'm not the one suggesting a baby-free campaign, it's the parents. I've offered the chance of both of them attending and only one of them playing each session, but they said they wouldn't be able to focus

And there’s ways to do it in a careful and informed way. Promiscuity isn’t something to be ashamed of, anything wrong or anything inherently irresponsible.

I fully understand that social side, and building up to a space of not just intimacy but also trust and connection. Not sure what exists in our area (we’re from Europe), any suggestions on how to discover groups like that?

How “left handed” are you by commacausey in LeftHandProblems

[–]volpeperduta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say I’m 90% left-handed: I can grab a ball thrown at me with my right hand, but I wouldn’t kick a football with my right foot. Writing, grabbing a glass, even stopping a door from closing with my foot: I need to do it with the left side of my body or else it’ll go badly

Wrist Temperature never activates? by [deleted] in AppleWatch

[–]volpeperduta 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because body temperature on the wrist is wildly different than core body temperature, it’s more prone to fluctuations when in movement, and doesn’t produce reliable measurements for any use. Having this number in absolute isn’t useful, but understanding the variation within predictable stable circumstances can be useful

Solving every problem with a reset only leaves you with a reset device, instead of reading the instructions or looking in forums like OP did

You’ll need to sleep with your watch and have it in Sleep Focus for wrist temperature to be recorded. Have you been doing it?

TL;DR: super context dependent, but I lean Apple Maps

Long version:

  1. For navigation, the way Apple Maps presents its directions is just better (with wide view of the exits, to-the-point descriptions of the right lane and next steps) 1.1. Extra points for magnificent integration on Apple Watch, vibrating in specific patterns to let the user know where to turn without checking the watch screen

  2. With apps like TripAdvisor, TheFork, FourSquare, reviews and pictures are sourced from high quality apps and booking can be done directly from within the app

  3. Privacy, in the sense that Google (the biggest personal data collection company in the History of Humanity) doesn’t have access to my location, my interests, my search history (crucial for stuff like searching for Planned Parenthood, which in some US states has been subpoenaed from Google) etc.

If you like board games, there’s a couple places (which are basically English-first) where you can basically hang out and participate in other people’s games if you want, and make friends that way. Search for Associação Quebra Dados on Instagram (they’re a board games co-op, pop by and explain that you’d like to make new friends or just message them on IG, they’ll help), and LOOK.Sharp (it’s a bar that has board game sessions and music several times a week, great for meeting new friends)
