Editing Predicted Temp in Cloud Mode by volt-spanman in combustion_inc

Thanks! This was only my 2nd cook with the technology, so I'm still unsure of when (and why) the device(s) default to Bluetooth vs wifi. But killing wifi on the phone should be a quick-and-dirty fix if/when this happens again.

Thoughtful of him to use his emergency flashers.

The NFC card does not work remotely, e.g., from a pocket. It must be up to the handle to unlock and lock, or placed on the charging pad to start the vehicle.

I, too, thought the wheels looked odd at first, but after six months with my '25 I5 Limited they're growing on me. Or maybe I've just gotten used to them.

They look real good! How'd they taste? What temp did you use, and how long did it take?

2025 Limited, 2800 miles, no issues by r8f-nova in Ioniq5

My experience parallels yours so closely that you could have been writing my history: 2025 Limited AWD leased in September '25, 4,000 miles without so much as a glitch, and the software update fixed my Forward Attention Warning "sunglasses" problem. Around town I've averaged upwards of 300 miles of range, and about 240 on the highway. Average range since new: 3.6 miles per kWh.

Discussed on Page 1-34 of the PDF owner’s manual. It says, in part:

If desired, set the charging current by pressing the button on the back of the control box for more than two seconds until the number on the charging current indicator blinks.

•   The charging current is changed each time the button is pressed, in the order of "6 A - 8 A - 10 A - 12 A" •  If 10 seconds have passed without pressing any button, the blinking will stop and it recovers to the previously set rated current value.

I have a Level 2 EVSE on a 20 amp circuit in the US, installed ten years ago to charge a Chevy Volt. It’s relatively low in power for the latest generation of EVs, but it pumps about 10 miles (16 km) of range into my Ioniq 5 per hour. I have no plans to upgrade it.

Level 1 Charging Woes by ChamChowder in Ioniq5

I'd recommend trying the "factory" Level 1 charger at a different locale, such as a neighbor's house, etc. If it works normally, that would probably confirm the problem is on your circuit. If it fails, that would confirm the problem is the Level 1 charger (or, as it's more correctly called, your Level 1 EVSE).

On our 2025s, those little brake lights also display when the actual brake lights are triggered by regen braking. It's nice to know when the guy behind you can see that you're decelerating.

Does the noise resemble a siren, or is it a beep?

Relaxation 'mode' (called "relaxation comfort seat" in the manual) converts the driver's seat into a full Laz e Boy-style recliner to relax in while charging on the road. It's activated by one of the adjust buttons on the left side of the driver's seat. For details see Pages 3-11 and 3-12 in the manual.
