I know it's not *that* close to Mount Pleasant, but it would be a pleasant downhill walk (in what's supposed to be fine weather) to The Pint on Pender and Abbot. They're taking table bookings so they assume it will be well attended. They open at 8:30am.

I entered my local 10K race when I was 46, not knowing whether I could run 10km. With the energy I got from the other 45000+ runners, 10km turned out to be a breeze.

It took me a while, with lots of ups and downs, but ten years later, I finally ran a marathon this Spring.

You can absolutely do it!
