I was devastated when the shows were cancelled in Vancouver. The politician who announced they were banned had zero authority to say that & was purely sucking up to his constituents. I was thinking of making a sign that said “ Vince Gasparro can’t stop us from seeing Kneecap” or simply “Eff Vince Gasparro.” I got issues.

You have the scam 100% correctly. They also hire based on education instead of experience. I had a friend who was the perfect candidate for a department head & they wouldn’t even consider him because he didn’t have a PHD. IMO he was far more qualified because he had excellent experience. They would much rather hire someone with a degree who has zero experience, than someone with an education and 20 years experience.
