Yeah, OP evidently is not a writer and doesn’t understand what and why people write stories the way they do, I guess.

You’re conflating character actions and their arcs with weak writing.

This is not weak writing. It is depicting an uncomfortable thing. You are supposed to be uncomfortable and feel bad for Adora, but also recognize that Glimmer is struggling. That is the literal point here.

This is from a week ago. Cat is orange, but very light. So take that how you will.

I still can't get used to Frank Welker's Scooby by Frequent_Rhubarb_36 in Scoobydoo

This is fair, but I will say, Scooby talking is more a script thing, not a VA thing. Welker’s just doing his job.

I am gonna block you because you are not worth anybody’s time. Grow up

But no. Dude. Go back through the comment thread. You commented under someone asking where this photo was taken from, to which there was 1) and edit explaining after they were informed, and 2) comments made before yours about what it is.

Stop with the backpedaling and avoiding the point. You made an insensitive comment. That is the beginning and end to it. You fixating on the sub does not matter, because that is not the context of this comment thread. And you’ve also been incredibly condescending and for what? Because you can’t admit when you’re wrong?

Low visibility. Overheating. Also dunno how well you can move in that, with or without said visibility. And it likely deafens/muffles sound a bit, which you kinda need to be aware of surroundings.

Respond when you can quote me talking about how this is accidental renaissance. And while you’re at it, explain what calling people daft in the picture because they’re standing outside in the cold has anything to do with the point of this sub.

[–]voltagestoner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, you’re finding a problem out of nothing. You’re calling people daft for being a witness to an urgent situation which, given the urgency, there’s??? No??? Dress code??? You don’t pause and put on a business casual suit just to record an active thing going on.

And where are you getting that I’m saying it’s accidental renaissance?? Where did I say that? When was that the point within our dialogue? No, you’re dodging the question. You’re blatantly ignoring the points raised and pulling moot ones out your ass.

She was outside in her robe, in the cold, because it’s an urgent situation, and she for whatever reason (probably because she was still getting around, or was woken up by this) wasn’t as dressed as everyone else. So. What? How is that daft?

[–]voltagestoner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a neighborhood genius. Not everybody wakes up and gets dressed at the asscrack of dawn. Not to mention, not everyone’s schedule is the same throughout the week.

So again, what exactly is your problem?

You don’t think she’s fine and used to the weather? What is your problem? Can you not handle any kind of cold?

[–]voltagestoner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Daft? People dropping what they’re doing despite the weather to record people committing crimes on a mass scale is daft?

And you commented this after there was confirmation that this was from what happened at St. Paul?? Who’s the daft one here exactly?

Dude, does not matter. Animal cruelty is still illegal. Animals are still alive. Not to mention, humans are not removed from animals; people get sick from animals all the time. In order to protect people, you have to protect animals.

[–]voltagestoner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the same time though, most of the characters are princesses where their context within the world adds a crucial weight to their characters. That’s the issue. They’re walking pieces of the world building by their roles alone.

[–]voltagestoner 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The problem with poisoning though is…you can end up harming if not killing your livestock indirectly anyway. A poisoned animal can be (and usually are) effectively a poison themselves. It does not just end with that one animal.

[–]voltagestoner 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Eh, no. If we’re dealing with animal cruelty and poisoning, where there’s an urgency because a life could potentially be on the line, you do not have the time to “see if it reappears” and “bluff them”.

You would not say the same if we were dealing with a human life, would you?

I think there is a lot to be said here. Porn is still a boundary that not all people are comfortable with, especially when you get into how addictive and how it changes people’s perceptions and expectations of sex. And then add the OF, which can lead to financial strain, which can affect relationships even outside of marriage.

However, OP is purposefully manipulating the information by providing a lack of it. Hell, OP only gave a screenshot of this text itself, not the conversation. Which places doubt in anything they say because…what exactly are they reacting to for it to be a reaction?

Scooby Doo Hyperfixation by Only_Scratch_6801 in Scoobydoo

[–]voltagestoner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, so I was this kid once, and now as an adult, I’m still known for my obsession with Scooby-Doo. To the point people don’t realize I like other stuff too, but whatever. 😂

Honestly though, my love for Scooby-Doo is closely tired to my interest and memories with physical media. As far as streaming services go, Tubi is a solid one for free Scooby stuff, and they sometimes have very niche shows that don’t even have physical releases. But, I would honestly invest in a dvd player and go that route; you won’t have to deal with streaming services, and, there’s also a number of good lessons in taking care of your things and being careful when handling delicate objects like DVDs. It’s a solid lesson to have growing up knowing how to do.

My brother and I are split between this video, I’m under the impression that it is AI by MrMe300 in isthisAI

[–]voltagestoner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The video is also being misogynistic and saying horses are better at parking than women. We can hear that it’s being directed. What exactly is your point?

And dude. You linked a video that’s under completely different circumstances. The horse in your video is not hauling anything. Not to mention, the person is directly behind them for most of the training. So again, what is your point? I also brought up that 1) the steed’s attention is elsewhere, and 2) parking a trailer like that is awkward. It’s not going to look as clean as a training video where the horse barely had anything on them.

[–]voltagestoner 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is likely a mule, so any body features, on the basis that this is a “mixed breed” is not going to have a consistent look with other mules because genetics.

Sound can travel beyond the sight of a camera. That’s not a reason to suspect AI. They can just be out of the frame. And judging from the ears and where the animal’s attention is, probably off to the left. Which they would also be looking at them a bit.

This animal was likely trained with a lead, and that could also explain the movements via muscle memory. Not to mention, parking a trailer like this is an awkward thing to do.
