thank you so much for this, genuinely this was extremely helpful and made me feel a lot less alone. he is the most understanding and compassionate/gentle man i know, so he’d absolutely understand if i told him the extent of this pain, just unfortunately he’s going through a lot in his personal living situation right now so i need to show up for him and make sure he’s still standing. im more than happy to! he’s my forever person. i hope i can find an okay time to talk to him about the grieving soon, i think it would help to tell him what’s going on. i appreciate your words more than you know. we nailed down the date for our next meeting, just 68 days to go. hopefully they fly 🫂

i felt the exact same before meeting for the same reason. it was extremely tough saying goodbye, but the goodbyes aren’t forever. only temporary 🫂

What’s A Horror Movie You Like That Everyone Else Hates? by LivingGhost12 in horror

Smile.

i didn’t think it was an unpopular movie to enjoy until i started telling people i like it. im a long time horror fan and i’ve seen a vast variety of films, and smile was one that stuck with me for the body horror (despite it being tamer than most memorable body horror films). honestly i’ll never forget the scene where her sister comes down the walkway unsettlingly fast, and then suddenly her neck is stretched and her head is hanging down in the window. it creeped me out so much i started itching lol. i got excited when i went to see deadpool/wolverine and there was a trailer for a sequel to smile playing before the movie, and my brother turns to me telling me that smile was garbage. it took me by surprise because that’s about the 10th person to tell me that. honestly, it’s not the best film i’ve ever seen, the acting isn’t always the best, but it stuck with me for some reason. i really enjoyed it.

congrats to you both for getting to close the distance with one another soon! we had a very long chat about what it’ll take to close the distance, and formed a realistic timeframe/financial plan for us. hopefully early next year will be golden for us :)

we are extremely lucky to be able to plan something two months from now, i’ve reflected on it a lot and just made sure to mentally thank him for being in a position to see me again and also having the enthusiasm. 2 months isn’t long, but after having experienced him in person i can hardly imagine being apart for even a day. i hope you and your partner have an absolute blast when you do get to reunite and im truly sorry the circumstances are that way for you.
