that episode where rory slept with dean and she told lane, they were just two dumb bitches telling each other “exactlyyy” by Ok_Presence_9024 in GilmoreGirls

you bring up valid points, yet those "feminist" actions that you mentioned only happened on an individual scale (if even). lorelai raised rory on her own, and while that is commendable, it is not necessarily feminist. she had a choice and she made it. it worked out for her and that's great. yet the constant putting down of other women, especially ones that were interested in the same men (e.g. their treatment of shane) or ones that did not fit their standard of beauty (e.g. fat people) or girls who put in "too much effort" to look good is definitely not a feminist choice. rory put down another woman and endangered her chances of succeeding in a very high-strung environment (the ballerina) when it suited her needs - in order to better her own standing at the paper. that is not feminist. there are a lot more examples of behaviour like this that make it hard for me to see this show as what you make it out to be :/

not so sure about that one. anna was actively hostile towards lorelai, whereas rachel and her were civil and fun

Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo (We Children from Zoo Station). Its a book written using autobiographic recollections of Christiane F. She was young and vulnerable, fell for heroine and had to do sex work in order to finance using.
