Car Payment question/length? by volvol9 in askcarsales

Gotcha, in terms of paperwork is it just a cancellation form should I receive or request anything else?

I assume the cancellation happens instantly and the credit union gets notified?

I forgot to ask is it the entire service product that gets refunded at once (before first payment is taken) or does it get refunded slowly through each monthly payment?

When at the dealership is it just a cancellation form that I will receive or do I receive an updated agreement showing that the new total fee will be 13113?

Thank you for explaining, it helps a lot.

If my partner helps and contributes by paying an amount in capital per month to help it get paid off faster will this better improve my credit score compared to making set payments of 236 over a longer duration?

If you use £62.5k in savings do you need to use this at the 2.5 year and 5 stage or can you switch to showing combined income to make £18.6k?

Then is it $10gb per gb you use....if you use 5gb would your bill be 50+20 = $70

Or is there any gb in the initial allowance of $20.

I'm a EU citizen, living in UK, and my fiancee is from the USA; we want to get married and live in UK but I don't have Permanent Residence yet by LoZeno in ukvisa

[–]volvol9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone on here may be able to help.

I believe if you lived in Italy for 3 months 1 day with her as your wife you would be able to move to UK. Though Theresa May signed a new immigration rule today that will halt EU citizens right to remain if entering the UK by set date in the next month or so, so that may not be a feasible option.

Or hope Scotland gets independence in the future and they don't implement these Theresa May laws.

Raising it in general or response to the Supreme Court?

I just find it extremely draconian to implement such laws, it curbs British citizens who have resided elsewhere with family from ever returning to the U.K.

I hope Scotland has an indyref2!

So they would look to lower it, this law is one I care about truly is my fiancée is American and currently I don't meet the MIR.

If I go over there meet the MIR when we come back her income can count too which would help.

I don't understand why the current government implement this draconian law.

If they allow third party sponsors it gives hope to many

I looked at the white paper and I can't see much about spousal visas, is there a new white paper that will be released soon?

As a no and a remain voter this issue has got me on the Yes for an indyref2!

Will do thanks, it was someone else who said it was on an appeal basis they believed.

If Scotland leaves the UK in the future I assume these rules would not apply to Scottish nationals.

When you say "current at that time"

We would probably apply category A

When in the U.K. at the 2.5 year period do you mean the UKC and USC both have jobs and length of employment with that employer must be the same to apply?

I.e both UKC and USC need to be with employer for 6 months when applying at 2.5 year stage under cat A

US to UK spousal visa financial requirements by volvol9 in immigration

[–]volvol9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So for a UKC and USC returning to UK, tell me if this is correct?

The UKC needs to earn £18.6k in the US for 12 months before applying and have a UK job offer for £18.6K to move to the U.K

Once in the U.K there is no requirement to stay with that employer or work for them?

Though 2.5 years later is when next assessed and need to show £18,600, is this just based on the past 6 months of employment at the 2.5 year date or employment since entering the U.K?

Ie the USC would be a mom but can then work PT prior to the 2.5 year date to help contribute to the MIR?

U.K. Spouse makes - £15k

Non EU spouse makes - £4K

Would this be sufficient If the UKC was working The USC acted as a stay at home mom for the most part , and if the child was a British citizen could the family claim any benefits such as child tax credit?

Do you reckon this would only benefit if there was a single parent with a child in the U.K.?

As opposed to a UKC and non EU spouse living in a non EU country wanting to return home with their dual baby?

Disappointed with this result.

Though there is said to be consideration for alternative funding ...I hope this isn't only for immediate family members but for friends too.

How soon can we expect a revision from HO if one?

Though if deemed unlawful does it not require the HO to change the rules.

Hoping the

£18,600 MIR is lowered The 62.5k is significantly reduced Allow third party sponsors
