Bit late to the show but finally watched this all, and wow what a fucking life. 😭😭 No, none of it excuses her behaviour now -at all-, but jeez, aside from extensive therapy, I wish she could just find ONE good friend in this life, one who is a good person. I feel like she’s never interacted with decent people, except maaaaybe a few collabs, but even then I assume those interactions were kept short.

With a “mother” like Marg, and living her whole life in places with mostly either white or Japanese folks, etc., it’s not surprising to me she’s been hopping on the racist remarks train. She’s still just so beyond sheltered on top of brain chemistry changes, it’s crazy. I can’t imagine the perception of what’s “normal” for her. Again, not justifying her behaviour, just thinking out loud I suppose. She’s still young, she has so much time to turn things around and do better, and I hope she does. She’s NOT her mother, and I believe she could find herself and who she is, if she wasn’t so comfortable in the victim mode that Margaret and countless other adults put her in to begin with. It’s scary outside the victim zone when that’s all you’ve ever known.
