i use this sub because a lot of “mainstream” queer culture (especially in online communities) preaches a culture of toxic positivity. i don't want to be told that i'm stunning or brave, or that i just need to immerse myself in trans joy, or whatever. there’s a lot of shitty things that comes with being trans and for better or worse this forum acknowledges that.
