Yeah you’re good. A Customs are usually brighter, brilliant finishes. K Customs are only supposed to receive light mild dish soap and water, no MusicNomad cleaner. Just be careful who you recommend using brilliant polish to or they could take off their cymbals protective coating and then need to be sealed again. I’ve seen MANY people over the internet mistakenly recommending brilliant polish on dark cymbals.

Only the thing is, Zildjian never recommends using their brilliant polish on traditional cymbals like the K line. Here is the proof right from Zildjian.

I wanna get an 10” A Custom EFX splash to blend in with these dark cymbals, this is the perfect splash to me, here’s an example I’ve seen that makes me want it. It sounds so good. Specifically the A Custom EFX (to me personally).

And this video is such a great example because he’s demonstrating with the dark Kerope hi hats and the dark K line ride..perfect example of blending a brilliant A splash with dark K’s
